- Eric J. SimilaVery satisfyingThe coins were just part of a grab bag, But I found the small treasure treasure chest that came with it to be very helpful as well.
Currently I'm using the cell phone program coin snap to analyze and project what I got out of this collection. To catalog what I have.
I do have one minor gripe. One of the coins was so dirty, and so flat That I couldn't even tell what it was. It made it unidentifiable. But the rest of the coins seem to be in very good condition and the program had very little difficulty figuring out what was what.
I've already collected coins from 13 different countries based on the 50 coins that I've already analyzed out of the 200 or so I was given. Some of the coins are a little bit on the hefty side. Some of them measured at maybe about 10 or 9.5 g. - JohnNeat gift for any coin collectorIt's a cute little treasure chest. The chest is very detailed and made from wood (and plastic for the latches). Better quality than I expected. For the price of the coins per lb, it's pretty average and not a bad deal for the combo. I bought it for myself but it's definitely a great gift for any coin collector or someone starting a coin collection, and gives you the added bonus of a fun way to display your treasures.

However its advertised as a world currency assortment of coins, so youd assume that all the coins would be of an actual currency, about 20 coins are fake tokens for college dorms or theme park game rooms no actual cash value to them at all.

- Erick ForsytheA lot of duplicatesHonestly; the neat little box was one of my favorite parts. I like it’s design. Ok; look. I know they probably have a large container of these coins and scoop out 1 or 2 pounds. So I get their will be duplicates. But as the photos show coins and nearly 20 duplicates. That is more than excessive when paying by the pound. I also had several US Pennies in there. I live in the US. I didn’t buy this to receive US coins. The coins were also extremely dirty and dusty. There were two coins that were arcade tokens and not even money coins. One coin was so dirty and damaged I just threw it away. Overall I still love the coins. Just feel like for the price the variety and quality should be ten times better.
- Wayne23Do not buyDo not buy this product. The seller on their site, states you will receive historical coins reviewed by an expert, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. When we opened the chest, there was no certificate. The quality of the coins ranged from very damaged to brand new. As I went through them, I found three tokens.
I reached out to the company asking why tokens were included with my set. Additionally, I inquired how could coins badly damaged be part of my set if they were inspected? Last, I mentioned no certificate. This is the response I received-- "Some historical or curious tokens can be included in the lot, but not many. As for the oxidised coins, we apologise, as we try to remove those that are in very bad condition, although sometimes some "slip through"." Since when is a sesame street token of any historical evidence?
