- MBBExceeded expectationsMy husband and I are e-bike riders and have tried many different types of ways to communicate while riding. Earbuds work okay, but not particularly safe to use in traffic and walkie talkies were too bulky. I ordered these with low expectations and I am blown away! First of all, they work great for the intended purpose in that they connect to our iPhones and sound quality is amazing while communicating on our bikes. Here’s the part I wasn’t expecting. The sunglasses lens are actually quite good and they are super comfortable. I use them when I do my morning walks and I love the sound quality while listening to my music and can easily press the pause/volume buttons when necessary. I’m sure it’s not the quality of more expensive headphones, but it’s still amazing given the price of the product. My only regret is that I didn’t spend the extra money on the transition lenses which would have been better for evening bike rides. We’ve only had these for a few weeks, so hopefully they will keep on impressing me. I highly recommend these. Just saw yesterday where they had a lightning deal where you could get these for $25 less than I paid for them. Bummer. Best to keep watching for a deal.
- Larry LoweGreat GlassesConnects quickly and the sound is great.
- JonGood Everyday Audio Sunglasses (Just Don’t Expect Audiophile Quality)Overall, these sunglasses are very comfortable for everyday use, whether driving or walking outdoors. The sound quality is fair—not as good as the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, but perfectly sufficient for anyone who isn’t an audiophile. Naturally, the audio won’t match AirPods or other in-ear headphones since this is an open-ear design, but the convenience is excellent.
As others have mentioned, when the volume is turned up very high, people nearby may be able to hear the sound (especially in quiet environments). However, at low to moderate volumes, it’s difficult for others to notice that you’re listening to music or podcasts. Personally, I find them most useful when I’m outdoors on a walk or run and still want to stay aware of my surroundings.
This is a solid pair of audio-only smart glasses for the price. I removed one star only because the sound quality isn’t as strong as the Ray-Ban Metas. Overall, I would definitely buy them again for their comfort, price, and convenience. - Katie LindholmGreat price when on sale. Hold up well and have VERY GOOD battery lifeGreat price when on sale. Very long battery life compared to other brands.
- Nina M.Lenses not changingI own many pairs of these glasses. However when I bought these the lenses wont change at all. I have been trying to get ahold of the company with no luck. I would like to see if they will send me the correct pair that work. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with their products.
- Franky CapuchinoGreat for the jobsiteLove these glasses, as someone who works in construction, They are ANSI approved. I’ve recommended these to many coworkers and even superintendents, all of which have been satisfied
- Karla GarcíaGreat sound and styleGreat sound
- T WSolid Product at a Good PriceLet me start by saying I've gotten these as well as the popular Razer Anzu glasses, so I'll be able to compare them.
The Anzu glasses I got were $25 but they were the round version which look weird to me. I suspect that's why they were $25. I thought these looked cooler so I got them as well.
Compared to the Anzus the sound and build quality are a bit worse but not that much worse. Especially the sound quality. These get louder than the Anzus too, so that's something to keep in mind. Overall, they aren't headphones, but they're close enough to a pair of glasses that retail much higher, so I'd say that's a solid win.
I mentioned a "worse" build quality, when maybe I should've said less premium. That's because these seem like they were made from a cheaper plastic, but they also seem much sturdier. The Anzus seem heavy, sort of wobbly and I'd be scared to drop them. These stay on your head more securely, feel lighter and seem like they could take more of a beating.
Another pro for these glasses is the controls. Look, I get it. EVERYTHING has touch controls these days. It's more premium, technologically advanced, etc, etc, but I'm not a fan of them on a lot of headphones and it seems weird on glasses like the Anzus. The Ohos feature actual buttons that work well and are easier to use.
Going back to more premium, the tech in the Anzu is smarter. They pair when you open them and turn off when they are closed. The Ohos require holding in the power button to power down. Not a huge deal, but it speaks to the difference in price.
I almost forgot but the Anzus come with blue light blocking frames AND a second pair of sunglasses frames. That is a massive value in itself, but the practicality of constantly switching frames may make it a moot point unless you get really great at quickly uninstalling/installing them.
With all that being said, if these and the Anzu rectangular versions were the same price I'd buy those for the more premium look, slightly better sound, better tech and multiple frames.
But they are not the same price. The Anzus hover around $60 while the Ohos are $35 or so. For the price, the Ohos are better. The Anzus are not better enough to spend that much more. If you want something really good or are an audiophile, then go with the higher end ones on the market ($100+), but I think these are great for what they are.
Definitely buy these if you haven't had Bluetooth glasses before to see if you actually like this sort of product!
