- Génesis TorresSizeEasy-to-use turntable with a cool vintage design. I like that it’s portable and comes in a suitcase style, so it’s easy to move around or store. The sound quality is good for casual listening, and the built-in speakers are convenient if you don’t want to connect extra equipment. It also has Bluetooth and RCA options, which makes it pretty versatile. Overall, it’s a solid, stylish record player that’s great for enjoying some vinyl at home.
- JohnSolid turntable for the priceThis is a fine player and I really like that it stops turning when finished. The speakers have good volume, but they are tiny and the sound quality is not comparable to external speakers. It is fine for a small room. I do enjoy having a turntable again, but I will be ordering some speakers
- patti WilkinsonGreat productWorks great, good sound looks so good!!
- HoustonBasic record player, cheap and worksWhat do you expect for $50? It plays records and has decent tiny speakers, which can get pretty loud. Of course the speaker range is limited. It's decent if someone gave you a record and you just want to listen to it. It does have a vintage 60s-70s feel to it. Kind of like listening to an old radio. Doesn't skip at least, a little popping sound on a 1972 record, a bit of wobble (up/down) on a new record. But it still works and doesn't use much space so good if you have cheap records you only listen to occasionally.
I tried the headphone jack to RCA on my AV receiver it sounds decent. Also the RCA outputs to AUX, not sure which is better honestly. I tried adding a preamp but it seems to be a ceramic cartridge which is already high gain so it distorted like crazy. You can kind of mimic a preamp by putting the bass to max and dropping the treble a bit on your AV receiver. Takes a little tweaking but the sound is a lot better.
