I'm knocking a star off because it doesn't light up, I knew that, but also because the dpad ring is not raised enough. It's far to easy to button fumble and my hands are not overly large.

When I purchased my LG smart TV for my living room, the TV remote it came with it didn’t have the little circular pointer in the middle like this remote does. I believe this was called the smart remote in the guide and I only had the basic remote that it came with despite spending a lot of money on the TV. I went online to try to buy this remote to the manufacturer website and they *advised me* not to buy the remote anywhere else. So I researched why?? The reviews for their remote on their website were not good. This remote blows that remote out of the water, looking at all the other remotes on amazon & elsewhere , similar to this, the words for Disney or Netflix etc are misspelled!! So pay attention! I got this one because everything was spelled right but was nervous due to what I found elsewhere not working. ITS PERFECT!!! Way way cheaper than manufacture or others AND ITS BETTER! I haven’t even needed to change the batteries in it yet and I believe I’ve had this for… 10 months so far
I highly highly highly suggest this remote out of all the other ones that are offered. It pairs, easily, it’s a Backup remote if you misplaced your main, this one you can use the cursor because of that circular button. Perfect feel and compatible. - taraWorked straight out the boxGreat. Our goggle tv needed an update, couldn't do the update as the original remote was lost, so we were stuck on the update screen, because we were using a replacement remote that was paired via Bluetooth.This remote worked right out of the box, no pairing needed, and got us of the software update screen.
- Shiloh Mannsgood when it workspaired easy and worked great for a while but it’ll just not work for a while then function again randomly, so i’m not sure what the issue was. Not expensive, but would prefer it to work consistently so I might have to get a new one. It has all the right buttons but i just can’t use them sometimes even when troubleshooting (removing and reinstalling batteries, re-pairing) and making sure the way is clear. It’s great when it works
