- Nikki DGreat to use on furbabies!These tracker tags are great to use on your furbabies! We have two large furbabies, but you can never be too safe by placing a tracker tag on them. These two tags make it so easy to locate them, just in case! They work with the Apple Find My App. It comes with a case that easily attaches to their collars (they are very lightweight!). All you have to do is be within Bluetooth range of the tag and ask Siri to find your tag for you. It also has a feature where you can "play sound" and the tag tracker will make a noise to aid in the help of finding you tag. If you are out of the Bluetooth range of your tag, you can then use the Find My App to view your tags most recent location on a map. Then you can use the network and GPS of millions of Apple devices to locate it anywhere in the world. This feature is so assuring! You also have the option to let your family/friends view the location of your tags! The tracker tags are water resistant, so they are friendly to the great outdoors! Great durability! The batteries are also easily replaceable! It features a CR2032 battery that lasts up to a full year! Also, there are NO fees required to use these tracker tags! That's a huge plus! - Happy CamperWorks for items but not petIt seems to work well with my keys, but not the cat (which was my main objective). It doesn't update fast enough. It says cat at home, was last seen 54 minutes ago. Not really helpful when I'm looking for the cat now. So I will just use them on other items.
- katie HansonAirTags – Honestly, These Little Things Are Lifesavers!!!!So, I finally gave in and bought a couple of AirTags—and I’ve got to say, I wish I had done it sooner. If you’re the type of person who’s constantly misplacing your keys, wallet, or bag (guilty ????♂️), these little trackers are seriously worth it.
Setting them up is ridiculously easy. You just hold it near your iPhone and it basically does the rest for you. Within a minute, you’ve named it (like “Keys” or “Backpack”), and it’s ready to go. Super smooth, typical Apple.
The tracking is solid. If I lose something around the house, I can make the AirTag play a sound to help me find it, or use the "Find My" app to literally point me in the right direction. It even tells me how many feet away it is. It’s kind of like magic when you see it work for the first time.
What’s also cool is that if I ever leave something behind somewhere far away, the AirTag taps into Apple’s massive Find My network (basically, other people's iPhones that are nearby) to update its location. It’s anonymous and private, but it actually works. I tested it by leaving my keys at a friend’s house, and sure enough—location updated.
The battery lasts about a year and is easy to replace. I haven’t had mine that long yet, but I like that I don’t have to worry about charging it constantly.
Only downsides? You kinda need to buy a keychain or holder because the AirTag is just a disc with no loop or anything. Also, it’s really only useful if you have an iPhone. If you're on Android, it’s not as integrated.
But all in all, AirTags are awesome. I’ve already stopped panicking every time I can’t find my stuff, which is a big win for me
