Before you start a new problem, clear your work. Clear your time value of money. Clear your cash flows. Clear them again to be sure. It stores a lot of stuff in memory. The one thing I haven't figured out how to get it to clear is C/Y in the ICONV function, but maybe the manual explains that. I haven't actually read it (shh!). Be sure to put your outflow values into the calculator as a negative number, or some computations will give you an error.
It won't help you keep the terms straight or untangle the tricky questions, but it will help you do the math in a fraction of the time it would take to do them on a standard calculator. The price is reasonable, too, which I appreciate.
The one downside is that sometimes it doesn't register when I press a button. That's user error, and it's probably good that it isn't super sensitive. It just means I have to start over more than I would prefer. But even that is okay, because putting the cash flow in twice is still a lot faster than compounding or discounting everything manually. - Surendra SharmaGood CalculatorEasy to use !!
