- Camron V.Great Projector All Around! Autofocus Is Super Impressive!I picked up this smart projector recently and I was pleasantly surprised by it! I was very impressed as soon as I turned it on because the projected display instantly came on very bright with a very clear image. I'm used to projectors I've used in the past starting off very dim and taking about half a minute to reach full brightness, so having it come on instantly was really nice. Set up was pretty straight forward and simple. It walked me through setting up my internet and then I was all set! Connecting it to the internet is optional for anyone who wants to keep it offline or plans on using it in areas without internet, though you will be limited to devices you connect via the 2 USB ports, 2 HDMI ports, or Bluetooth for audio if you choose to not go online.
For the built-in applications, I used Netflix, YouTube, and I was even able to get Hulu working on the projector itself. Netflix was super easy to get signed into, set up, and going, and YouTube you can open up and start using right away as you'd expect. You can go beyond the main applications they advertise here by going through the app store that they have built into the projector. On mine, I was additionally able to get Hulu and a small little weather application working directly on the projector itself.
As I mentioned before, the back has 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports. The HDMI ports work as you'd expect, and I had no trouble connecting my systems like game consoles to the projector through them. The USB ports ended up being pretty cool. I assumed it was just for loading videos off of to play on the projector, but I was surprised to see that the projector not only recognized and played my videos on my USB flash drive, but it also recognized my photos and music and could display my photos and play my music I had stored on it as well!
On the back, there is also a headphone jack, which is what you'd expect, and I also noted that there seemed to be an IR sensor on the back. At first, I was worried that this would mean that the remote that came with the projector would only work if it were pointed directly at the back of the projector, but it actually worked much better than I had expected! The remote worked no matter where I pointed it while I was in the room so I was able to sit comfortably in front of the projector and point the remote in front of me or wherever was most comfortable and not have to worry about losing inputs.
The automatic focusing, obstacle avoidance, and smart screen alignment on this projector are AWESOME! No headaches here at all! It recognizes when the image is out of focus and will just fix itself, and it is also capable of letting you manually adjust the focus if you ever need to override the automatic focus for some reason. You can also manually make it auto focus if you need it to retry, though it nailed the auto focus every time I tried it. It even did it perfectly automatically one time when I accidentally walked in front of it for a small portion of the auto focus. It not only automatically adjusts the focus, but it also automatically adjusts the angle the projected image needs to be at. If you use the built-in stand on the projector and have the projector propped facing slightly upwards like I did, you don't end up with an oddly shaped projected image after the auto focus process. You pretty much end up with a perfectly project image every time! You can see it work in my attached video.
The last thing I want to touch on is the Bluetooth in this projector. It can be used in two ways, as in, you can connect a Bluetooth speaker you have to it if you have a really nice Bluetooth speaker that you want to hear all of the audio come out of OR you can actually connect your phone or some other device to the projector and play your music through the projector's built in speakers! It was just a feature that I found really interesting. - TeckGood projectorI recently got this projector and I’m really happy with it. The picture is super clear, even if im projecting it on a wall with the door open (light is coming in through the door). The colors look bright and sharp. I'm placing it tilted because I have to place it on my nightstand but it's still really clear and bright. I can read the subtitles when it comes on too. I think it auto focuses so it gets better a couple seconds into your stream.
I've purchased their other white projector and it was good too but the sound was not great, this one has a better Dolby sound system. I didn't even need to connect it to my speaker for good sound quality when we watch shows or movies.
It was also really easy to set up. You just follow the instructions on the manual and plug in the power cable, and that's it! It has Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube built in so you don't need to use the HDMI cable. You can also find more apps in the built-in app store. In addition, it has 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports, so you can easily connect a TV stick, gaming console, or other external devices. Super convenient!
It's honestly perfect for us because our bedroom doesn't have space for a TV and now with this we can watch TV shows before bed. I 100% recommend! - K MillerExcellent projector for golf simulator and movie nightI purchased the Wimius P62 Pro projector as an upgrade to my golf simulator. the family uses the simulator a lot, and we like to enjoy movies on the screen also when we do a family movie night. I wanted a projector with Netflix, youtube, and prime video built in, along with HDMI inputs for the golf simulator. I needed a projector with great brightness for when we have windows and doors in the garage open. This projector perfectly suited my needs. It has 800 lumens and is significantly brighter than my previous one. Having netflix at the click of a button is very nice. The picture is super sharp and clear. Even with my golf simulator screen being a little loose I am thoroughly impressed with the image quality.
Having 2 USB inputs and 2 HDMI inputs gives you plenty of room for expansion. The auto focus is excellent, the settings also allow for manual focus. One of the huge benefits of this projector is the automatic keystone correction. This allows you to place the projector off to the side of the screen, which is crucial for my golf simulator setup.
The dolby audio is impressive for its size. It easily fills my garage with sound, and the bonus is that it can double as a bluetooth speaker.
All in all this projector is worth every penny. I am pleased with the high quality and ease of use. - Marielle ShpakGreat Projector!First off, I just want to say how easy this projector is to set up and use. Once removed from the box, it takes only a couple minutes to get everything set up and ready to go. No added downloads, crazy settings, or anything that will prevent you from watching your movie or show outdoors in a timely manner.
Second, I want to comment on how clear the image is. Once you put the projector on and set it up, it starts with an auto-focus that creates a clear image immediately, helpful so that you do not need to to figure out the right settings yourself. It takes 20-30 seconds, but then focuses perfectly for the distance you are at. Then you are ready to go. The crisp-ness of the video is great, clearer than other projectors we have used in the past so that we could watch our shows and movies without being blurred. In addition, the audio from the projector itself is great - but if it's not good enough for you, it is extremely easy to connect to bluetooth speakers. This is the first projector that we have found that easily connects to our speakers and allows audio to be played loud and clear for all to hear.
Overall, this projector is great so far. Like I said and like the videos posted, the audio and visual are great and we are excited to have finally found the perfect projector for our outdoor movie nights!
