- DaniWe give this to our cat occasionally!This gerber baby food has been great! We actually feed the Gerber Meat Baby Food to our cat occasionally when she is being picky. It's not intended to be a balanced meal for a cat but it is okay occasionally and cats seem to really like it. Super simple ingredients. Great to have on hand for a cat that is picky or isn't feel well to help get them to eat.

She gets Delectables cat treat and Fancy Feast cat food every AM & PM presented on the same bowl, each product it’s own little mound. She’s put on weight (she was a stray and thin) her coat is so shiny and soft! Highly recommend for cats
- n/aBaby's love the chicken and so does my cat.Jar is a challenge to get all of the food out. You need to buy a very small spatula for the corners so there isn't so much waste.
- Boba CeoMy cat refused to eat anything else but THISMy cat was having an appetite loss for a while and wouldn't eat any of the foods he usually does so as a last resort I tried giving him some baby food. This did wonders because he actually ate it everyday instead of pawing at the floor with everything else I give him! While it's not a total replacement for cat food, it's calories (one jar+) can be just as much as regular cat food which is what we needed given he wasn't eating anything else but this. He would also get really excited every time we pop open a jar of this and would gobble the entire thing up in minutes so it's probably very tasty too. Great if your cat is experiencing an appetite loss.
- C&WMy cat loves itI have tried so many types of canned cat food, only to find my cat won't eat it. When I brought him home from the rescue, I tried 3 different types of canned cat food on him trying lure him out of the bathtub. He hid in my tub under my husband's shower chair, nothing got him out untill the chicken baby food. Since then I have bought other canned cat food with no luck, he only likes chicken baby food. His original owner died, I can only guess this is what she feed him since he only likes this for wet food.
- ShelbyBrought My Fur Baby Back to Life!My 15 year old cat was throwing up. A LOT. She wouldn't keep down her kibble. She lost a lot of weight and was lethargic and dehydrated. After reading reviews of this and seeing more pet owners than parents purchased this, I thought I'd give it a try. This has, hands down, brought my fur baby back to life! In 10 days, she has put back on the weight and more! She is active, her fur is shiny and soft. She purrs loudly and even chases after our other 7 year old cat. While this is not a complete substitute for cat food, it has been an essential addition to my cat's recovery and I'm so grateful for all the pet owner reviews!
Please note: we also took her to the vet and she had an unrelated issue that wasn't causing the vomiting. - Deborah Albritton, MPAGreat product, but needs better packagingGreat product, as we use for our cats to hide supplements. But, it should be delivered in a box...not paper folder as they came all broken today. Of course they refunded us..but company should have in a box vs just a platic paper over the top or something saying fragile!
- DR BOBGot a finicky cat or dog who won't eat? Maybe try this stuff.I’m a DR and a retired COL, US Army. Which means, when I like something I shoot straight with making that known, and when I don’t like something, well, I shoot even straighter to point out what’s wrong.
I get this stuff for my finicky cat, who is insanely in love with it. She's also a scaredy-cat, so in the video you see her being cautious when the plate of this stuff is put in front of her...but, then she goes wild, eh?
Before you do this, just check with your vet first if it's okay for your own cat since it's formulated for babes and not cats. Other than a cat with severe kidney issues, this should be okay.
And as a Doc, use this sparingly, as both a treat and a change of pace from your cat's regular food.
It's 90 calories for a 2.5 oz jar which is not terribly high - it really won't make your baby or your fur baby fat.
And you do save money when ordering a 10-pack instead of the one jar price you'd pay in a store.
BTW, if you see caloric content on a can/jar/bag of pet food and it says KCAL, that the same thing as a human calorie.
This is especially useful if your cat, or even your dog, is recovering from some sort of physical ailment or doesn't really want to eat much of anything. Based on my use of it for years, they'll enjoy this.
So, a solid thumbs-up!
