  • I love it
I decided to finish most of the bag so that I could give an honest review. First things first, while it does not exactly taste like coffee, with a good creamer and sugar, it tastes delicious! Secondly, It sure does help with my mood and my focus. I drink mines warm. A lot of people drink it cold. I like it the opposite. It’s not strong unless you drink it black. The mushroom coffee is also powder.
Not grounds. Easy to stir into your water or milk. It eases my stomach. It’s not harsh. I give it an 8.6 it’s just expensive! It also comes with a wooden spoon!
  • I ❤️ it!
I love the taste. I just started using it this week, so I need more time to evaluate, but so far I have the great energy that it promises that lasts all day. It's better than my normal daily coffee. Focus has improved! Haven't seen much change in my digestion yet. So far it's a great product!!!
  • Honest Week Review Oct 24- 31 2025
    WEEK LONG REVIEW
    Day 1: Oct 24 2025
    Week: Oct 31 2025

I finally decided to try this as an additional to my other failed ways of staying/getting in shape. I've done the one meal a day, the 18 hour fast 10-12000 steps a day and I workout. I also never eat junk barely drink never smoke. And all this does work. However if I stop for a couple of days all my progress is GONE. And I hate that because WTF it shouldnt come back that fast after me not working out and eating a small amount of rice or mashed potatoes 1-2 days. So I decided to try the Ryze coffee. Because in addition to my fitness goals I'm also always tired unmotivated and forgetful.
    SO BAM! Here we go.

DAY 1: I used warm almond milk to mix coffee and creamer with no sugar. And ???? it tasted like lotion! How do I know what lotion taste like?? ???? happens thats how I know. So... I added sugar and cinnamon and whipped cream and it does a fairly decent job of masking the taste. I mean the taste still lingers a bit but its drinkable.

Pros: Feel more alert after 1 cup
    Cons: Taste like lotion

    Day 3

Day 1: After I had the first cup of lotion, the 2nd cup I made I used water cinnamon and nutmeg. And OMG it tasted just like chai tea! So, mixing it with almond milk made it taste like lotion. I felt less bloated more focused and more awake.

Day 2: I had one cup and was very alert felt less bloated. Also, I purchased the vanilla creamer and used it in addition to the coffee.

Day 3: I had 2 cups one around 8 am and another around 6pm. After the first cup I felt more alert and a little sleepy. I took a nap and made a second cup. After that second cup I felt a surge in hunger. So, I was eating everything cupcakes, wings, chips etc... and surprisingly I didn't feel bloated or disgusting. So, I'm going to assume that surge is likely jumpstarting my broken metabolism. However, when I was ready to go to sleep I couldn't. I laid in bed annoyed as hell because I had too much energy. The type of annoyance I felt was like my body knew I should be resting but someone kept turning the lights on and off. That type of annoyance. So, for the rest of the week. I will be cautious of the times. But so far, I say the value as an addition to me walking seems pretty useful. Also, my face seems to be a little bit less puffy.

    Day 7 loading......
  • Mixes quick and easy taste good.
I really like it as a healthy coffee substitute. Add a little creamer and some honey and cinnamon is how I like it

Update: this really is a healthy drink. It has made me feel so much better. I have more energy. My colon feels like it has been cleaned I have better bowel movement. My appetite has improved. My sinus problems have went away. I’ve even lost a few pounds even with an increased appetite. I think I will continue to use this drink.
  • Taste like an instant coffee mix, it's OK but don't believe all the hype
I have tried a couple mushroom coffees in search of a less jittery buzz and this is an OK coffee-like drink but is overhyped, it has a dusty instant coffee taste but don't expect a rich deep Jamaican blue mountain coffee experience or strong caffeine lift.

As for all the so-called health benefits, they are all TBD, no one has real evidence of true health benefits, that I have seen. Are mushrooms good for you? sure, just as most organic foods are. But for some reason mushrooms have a dark unknown lore about them with claims of everything from super brain health to outrageous sex drive. Let me put it bluntly, most of the claims are complete nonsense. Claims of improved libido in women via improved blood flow to "lady parts"? come on. This provides no more improved libido than a regular cup of coffee would. If you want to see a woman's libido improved, put tequila in it.

The taste is very similar to many other instant coffees which most folks don't prefer and only drink when there is no other choice. This to me has a dusty or dirt flavor with some watery instant coffee after tones. With cream it is not as bad but I think most people are expecting something so bad when they taste it they say, hmm, its not bad when they actually try it. That's different from saying this is awesome. They must add some instant coffee to the mix of mushrooms powder they have. That is what it taste like.

I don't buy all the health hype which is mostly subjective and anecdotal at best. What I will say is this, it is less jittery than a Starbucks brew. If you have stomach issues with coffee, give a cold brew a try. That seems much less acid than regular coffee, at least it did for me and you will get more than 30 servings for a fraction of the price.

I think what I dislike the most is the cost. It is way too expensive for what you get and I think this is a social media pump and dump.

I tried it for several days now and it is OK as a coffee-like beverage, but it is not a good cup of coffee. It will not impact your stomach as much as regular coffee will, but you sacrifice real coffee taste, and you don't get much caffeine lift. It is a flat, dusty like instant coffee experience.

Lastly, don't expect magical health benefits. Personally, I think it is a fad and will wear out like fondue, gelatin, pet rocks and mood rings. But if you enjoy it and it makes you feel healthier, gives you higher energy, more peaceful sleep, laser sharp focus, improved immune system, better digestion and a longer life with better immunity and a hot sex life as claimed.... (and don't mind the price), then be all you can be and enjoy. I'll stick to my cold brew.

    Positives:
    • not bad (just not great either)
    • convenient and fast to make
    • Less impactful to stomach compared to real coffee

    Negatives:
    • Overpriced
    • too many unrealized claimed benefits

Overall, I would say a good cold brew is better and less expensive but give it a try for yourself. You may enjoy it more than I do. I think it is an OK drink that is overpriced.

UPDATE: Customer service got in touch with me and refunded my money. I was both surprised and pleased. They saw I was not completely satisfied with the item, and they refunded my purchase. Kudos to customer service department. I am not going to change my rating, but I wanted to let you know that customer service good.

  • Surprised after just 1 cup.
Just got this today. I was expecting it to be nasty tasting. Much to my surprise it was actually good. I do feel the energy and focus. I did add creamer for taste. It wasn't gritty, but if you let it sit it does settle and you'd have what looks like mud, but it stirs right back into the drink.
