The size is very generous, and the craftsmanship and quality of wood is good (I'm a woodworker). There is slop in the pieces and sliding, but not too bad (and probably necessary given the liveliness of wood). When you start out, it seems like a simple sliding tile game, and you can go on and on sliding tiles without solving the puzzle. To solve it without using the included solution, you really have to think "if I were making a box with hidden latches, where would I put the latches to best secure the lid?"

We figured out from the order directions, but it only shows movement for one side....and you need both sides....plus a special secret....probably had more fun actually figuring out... did see after wards that there is a U-tube video.

- FFun, creative, possibly time consuingThis is a time consuming puzzle since it's a 2 step process but fun to do. The left edge of my box came off which I don't know if it's supposed to or not but all of the pieces came out. It took a while to get them back on looking at the pictures to see what piece went where. Just hope it still works.
