- StephDon't judge this "book" by its coverThe packaging of this card set really looks like it ought to be a box of lube or cards suggesting various X-rated activities. However, we've been pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness and emotional intelligence behind the various questions and how they are meant to be asked.
One of the most effective tools we got in couples therapy was a communication method called a comfort circle: one partner asks if there's been something bothering or concerning the other, and then the asker simply listens quietly with curiosity and openness, allowing space for the other partner to find the right words. These cards feel like they build on that type of technique - the instructions emphasize listening quietly and allowing your partner the time to answer. Listening with openness and curiosity and holding off on questions is a really important thing that seems simple, but is not second nature in many relationships.
The questions in the various card topics are really thoughtfully posed. I like that each question opens the door for partners really consider the health of the relationship and deepen their understanding of each other.
The "Intimacy and Desire" cards are not so much about sex itself, but about bringing emotional intimacy into the realm of your physical intimacy.
I love that they've included a "Past & Memories" section. So much of who we are right now is rooted in our experiences with our family of origin and growing up. The way the questions are phrased makes it easy to transition into how those past experiences affect us now.
I admit, my expectations were not high for this card deck, but we've been pleasantly surprised over and over by how well written and thought-provoking the questions are. It's made for more open discussion and strengthened our understanding of each other.

- gigiGood Conversation Starters!This is a cute little deck of cards for your partner! I've looked through some of the questions and I can definitely see some good conversations around these topics with my partner. My only complaint is that the box is a very tight fit around the cards so it is pretty hard to put the cards back in.
- MoGreat to get different conversation after you have been together for 10+ yearsI have been with my BF for over 10 years now. We are very comfortable and go through the day to day a lot of time with our minimal relationship conversations. Most things we talk about are work, what is going on in the world and other things that don’t necessarily make our relationship any stronger or add to our connection. These have brought that back. So far my favorite are the Daily Us. One of the questions is What’s one small routine we have that you secretly love? We end up having the same answer but it was that we do a 20 second Hug at least once a day. If it s a work day is is usually when we the last person gets home. If its a no work day it is when we wake up. But The Daily us is great for us to help us cherish things every day. The Past and Memories is great as well this has brought up memories and events that have helped shaped us and is a better inside to some things that have shaped us now in the present as well as some pivotal moments that have shaped our relationship. The last one I really like is Future Us. This is great for helping us just think of our future and not talk about the events currently around the world. There are other great categories all with some questions that really make you think about your relationship and can help connect even deeper.

- Spencer MitchellCute Way to Connect to Your Partnerthese are super cute and I love the idea behind something like this! I feel like it did help my boyfriend and I just have an alone time activity to connect and get closer that was wholesome but could get a little spicy if we wanted to. The quality of the cards and the box was really nice I like how thick the box is and the cards felt really nice and like a high quality. There are different sections of the deck as well to focus on different areas of conversation which I really liked. The whole thing was a bit smaller than I was expecting it to be, It was more the size of mini Uno and I was expecting them to be more like full size cards. I also think this is a perfect price range as when I compare it to other similar items it's in the same range.
