- William ButlerIncredibly sturdy and functional for the price.This fit my closet, and my needs perfectly, but frankly, I was concerned it was too inexpensive to be good enough to stay sturdy when filled with shoes. Amazingly easy to assemble. 5 minutes, literally. Everything included. Featherweight lite. Still holds a full complement of regular sized shoes without any issues whatsoever. Looks inconspicuous, which is what I wanted. Not flashy, but I didn’t want that. You could easily have it out, though, and not be embarrassed by it in any way, if you wanted to show off your shoes.

It’s incredibly sturdy and even though it’s long, it doesn’t take up too much space. I love the black color to it and the option to make it taller by flipping the handles underneath. For the price you can’t beat the value.

However, once I took out the instruction booklet, the entire rack went together quickly and very easily. I was really impressed how easy the instructions were to follow. The unit is sturdy and nicely holds all the shoes I want to use it for. It fits exactly as described.

It goes together quickly and easily, holds 3-4 pairs of shoes on each shelf (dependent on shoe size and design). I wear a 13 - clunkier shoes fit 3 pair to a shelf, others 4 pair to a shelf. I have the shoe bench with a shelf below the padded seat and more on the floor below the shelf - not enough. This works out at the end of the bed next to the bench and holds the ones worn regularly. I think it's a good buy for the money. May not be the one you want out when House Beautiful comes by for a photo spread but works great - no reason to hide - when guests are over.
- mtang408Sturdy, in spite of the small boxI was skeptical when the box arrived because it was really small. In the photo I added a standard utility knife for scale.
The assembly was pretty easy. I lost track part way through on how to put the bars together, but that was on me. I was probably hungry.
I like that there was a way to make the rack a three tier just by changing where the final uprights are attached, but I don’t have vertical room for another tier.

I didn’t overload the rack or anything, I just put my 9 main pairs on it. I followed the instructions and made it as tight as possible, but the shoe rack fell apart multiple times after I carefully placed my sneakers on it. In addition to this, when I was assembling the shoe rack, a lot of paint from the bars was coming off. Other than this, it wasn’t that bad. I wouldn’t really say I’d recommend it, but it wasn’t terrible.
- Amazon CustomerGood value for the moneyOn sale, this is an inexpensive and fairly attractive rack. It goes together easily and all the parts fit. As advertised, you can put it upright or upside down. The accompanying video makes assembly a breeze. Very light in weight and easy to move around. One thing I didn't appreciate is the brand sticker that often comes with the product. It does not come off easily. I have no problem in recommending the product. Since the slats are fairly wide apart...no problem for shoes...if you want to use it for some other purpose, keep that in mind. The picture is accurate.
