I did use another clever Amazon customer’s trick: for two sections of the tree I carefully halved the original shipping box and slipped the halves together inside this bag. Doing this gave structure to the bag for carrying and will help protect the bag from being damaged by the metal ends of the tree. The bags are huge so some of our lights and garlands fit inside with the tree sections.
