- CSecond time purchase updateThese containers are just what I needed and hoped they would be. Yes, they are easy to open, easy to use, and the size is just right— not too small or too large. I am so grateful that I decided to purchase them. Eventually, I will purchase more of the same size.
Second time purchase update: I was able to see how great these food storage containers are and just how perfectly they work in the freezer and the refrigerator, so I purchased another set. They are meeting a real need: airtight, leakproof, cost-effective, and high quality. They are on sale, which benefits my pocketbook. I have several sizes now of the Brilliance sets, some I have had for awhile now, and I really like them. The seal is tight and no leaks. They are easy to clean, see thru and classy looking.

They easily seal out the air and secure tightly, keeping the food fresh and the container leakproof. The containers are easy to close and open, and the lids fit well. They are well constructed and handle all sizes of food leftovers and preparations. I haven't tried them in the microwave yet. I love them so much, I bought additional sizes.

- dkTypical Rubbermaid quality.Expensive items. However, they do have some pluses: they are virtually airtight, the handles work well, the size is convenient for stacking. The gaskets could be more durable and opening the containers requires some care. They are not softly durable, but are sturdy and see-through.

Clear BPA-free plastic is a plus. Lids fit and seal like they should. Check them by filling with water and then turning up-side-down for hours without leaks.
