- JackWhitening Toothpaste works with repeated useI’ve been happy with this teeth whitening toothpaste. Being a coffee and tea drinker I do feel after using this regularly that it has helped keep the stains caused by what I drink to a minimum, therefore making my teeth look whiter. I purchased a three pack and felt the price was reasonable.

- michael strunkSolid toothpasteI’ve been using Crest 3D White Optic White Toothpaste for a while now, and I’ve been pretty happy with it. The toothpaste has a fresh, minty taste that’s not too overpowering, leaving my mouth feeling clean and refreshed after every brushing. It’s the kind of minty flavor that makes your breath feel extra fresh but isn’t too intense.
As for the whitening, I haven’t noticed dramatic changes in the brightness of my teeth. That said, I don’t drink a lot of dark liquids like coffee or red wine, so I don’t have much staining to begin with. For someone who doesn’t have a lot of discoloration to combat, this toothpaste might not produce the "wow" factor of an immediate, noticeable whitening effect, but it does keep things bright enough with regular use.
One of the things I appreciate most is that Optic White is gentle on my enamel. I haven’t experienced any sensitivity, which is a relief since I’ve tried other whitening toothpastes that tend to irritate my gums. - Bob WilsonPay close attention to which of these you are ordering, as there's more than one Optic White!When I ordered this toothpaste I thought I was getting a very pleasant, minty toothpaste such as I'd gotten as a sample from my dentist. Well, I didn't get "that" paste. Rather I got one "related" or "in the same family" of pastes. Colgate has apparently added to their Optic White line of toothpastes, and I didn't know that. Is this a good toothpaste? Yes, I think it's quite good. It certainly wakes me up every morning when I use it. Do I prefer it to the minty, green gel Optic White Colgate? In a word, no. I bought a package with three tubes of this type of paste and the price was great. Will I continue to use it, yes. But when it comes time to order more toothpaste I'm going to do my best to find the gel-type I first used. This one smells and tastes fine, and it actually has hydrogen peroxide in it, which may be why it has such a kick to it once in your mouth. From what I've read the peroxide in the paste should be beneficial as it helps to fight the bacteria that causes plaque. I cannot vouch for effectiveness in changing how my teeth look; I'm not into the "brilliant white teeth" look. To me it makes your teeth look fake. I'll make a decision as to effectiveness after I see my dentist the next time. For now: This is a very good quality toothpaste, with good taste, the right ingredients and a very good price.
- Christian HurleyMy favorite toothpasteThis toothpaste really balances a lot of the things I like. It has a fresh scent/taste, it has strong whitening abilities and it doesn't make my teeth hurt like some of the more aggressive whitening products. I was loyal to Crest for a long time but switched to this once I tried it. The tubes are not huge and they go pretty quickly if you're brushing multiple times a day but they're pretty affordable so it balances out. Great product, highly recommend.
