- Amazon CustomerLove these strips!Worked perfectly for hanging pictures. I didn’t want to nail my pictures to the wall and these have been holding strong. Keep in mind, I’m hanging canvas pictures, so very light material. I’m not sure how these would hold up trying to hang anything heavier. I did have to redo some of them as the pictures did fall but I think that was due to lack of pressure to make sure they were secure and due to not letting them seal properly before running the shower; as I’m sure the steam loosened it before it had time to seal to the wall. So I reapplied new strips after showering and let it sit over night and I haven’t had those pictures fall again.

THEY HAVE A SHORT SHELF LIFE! That’s right. The adhesive does not last like you would expect. A completely unopened package, stored in a a dark drawer in house with good temperature control will be completely useless after a year or two. Do Not Stick, Do Not Pass GO, Go to JAIL! I’ve thrown out maybe a hundred or more of these Commando Strip that were 100% USELESS just from sitting in a drawer or a year or two. Such a waste of

Also, there is the occasional Removal FAIL. At least 2 or 3 times, after a strip had been on the wall for a year or two, It completely pulled off the wall paint and a layer under that. So, if it’s unused, the adhesive will go bad waiting to be used. If it’s on the wall too long, it will go bad as the adhesive marries to the under lying surface. So diabolical..
Thus, I very grudgingly give this a 4-star rating, because they are fast, easy, no nails or hammer needed. But, they do disappoint you when you least expect it. - PattyCakesThe Command brand of hanging adhesives are the absolute best!These new type of Command strips that they sell, are great for holding up pictures that need to lay almost flat against the wall. I’ve used them plenty of times and everything is still stuck in place!
As you see in my video, there are no separate sides, so you don’t have to worry if you stuck the right side onto your item.
Both sides are exactly the same. You press them into each other like little teeth, and they grip each other.
As you see in my video, I pinch them together and pull them apart, I do this twice without any problems. I always trust the Command brand line of products.
