- ohiogalIt really works! This solved a draft problem with our French doors better than any other product we have used and it is almost invisible. It is well designed with a flange overlap which keeps out cold air while still allowing us to open the door. It was easy to install. Good product so far.
- JeanineDon’t waste your moneyTOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! We’ve used other brands in the past but a new puppy ripped it down. We needed to replace it this year and couldn’t get our normal brand quickly so opted for this knowing the brand name. It doesn’t stick AT ALL. Within a few hours it’s already peeling off the door and I had to glue it back in place. It blocked drafts well until it started peeling off the door. Huge disappointment!
- MargaretNo more cold air.I highly recommend this.
I purchased this because our front door was leaking air, even though we had replaces it when we moved into the property. Also, because temperatures will been in the negative (-10 degrees tonight) for the next few weeks. I could the difference right away no cold air coming in around the door nor a breeze across the Living room floor. Hope the fuel cost will go down. - Irene AndersonGood productWorks quite well! The adhesive Needs to be reinforced every other day, I have metal door.
- RobraeEasy applicationThis stuff is great. Used to seal around my doors.
- S.A.G.It doesn’t stick wellI bought this to put around a door that goes into my kitchen connected to a room that has no heat. Cold air comes through the door I put the tape around the door and on the bottom of the door. It was working great until I opened the door. The tape keeps coming off the top of the door and the bottom of the door. If I didn’t have to keep opening the door the tape probably would work find The tape doesn’t work on doors that you have to open and close. I am very disappointed with Flex tape.
- Nathan K.Find AlternateExtremely poor adhesion. Just one day after installation, tape fails. Tape was warmed up before installing and still failed. Tape is also extremely static. Waste of money, JUNK!
- O GGood idea productIt's a good product to keep cold air out. Make sure the surface is very clean. You'll have to trim the tape in a way that it doesn't interfere with the side of the hinged door at the corners. Look at the pictures of the tape installed on the flex seal website. I had to use an additional 35 lb strength double sided tape to make sure the flex seal tape sticks on the door surface. Also my door on the hinge side has a slightly large gap and when fully opened some of the tape ends up in the gap when the door closes. The tape could have been wider than 2 inches. But overall it keeps the cold air out.
