It was absolutely perfect for filling a thin gap around a utility box that gets drafts from the outdoors. I would not use this on a regular door as it's too narrow and shallow, but the seller gives the dimensions. Measure carefully before you buy.

However, my experience with this product has been less than satisfactory.
The installation process was as straightforward as advertised. Cleaning the door and applying the seal seemed simple enough, and initially, I was hopeful that it would effectively seal the gaps around my door frame. Unfortunately, my optimism quickly turned into disappointment as I noticed that the adhesive backing failed to provide adequate adhesion, despite meticulous surface preparation. Even after following the instructions diligently, the seal began to peel off within a short period, rendering its effectiveness questionable. Here is a pros and cons list according to my experiences:

- Miss MNot as good as I thoughtI really wanted this 50 Feet D-Shape Rubber Weather Stripping to work, but it was a complete letdown. The material feels cheap and flimsy, and it barely sticks to anything. Even after thoroughly cleaning the surface, the adhesive started peeling off within a day. In some spots, it never adhered at all.
The “50 feet” claim also feels misleading — the roll was unevenly wound, and I’m convinced there was less usable length than advertised. Cutting it was easy, but that’s about the only positive. The seal itself doesn’t hold tight, so it does little to block drafts or noise, which defeats the entire purpose.
