While it's never going to be as clean as running wires and bringing the power cable up through the dash, the flexibility this cable offers is fantastic. I wasn't worried about the cable being able to provide the power, but I was worried the 90 degree adapter might not be able to. But paired together it keeps the dust cover mostly closed instead of sticking out a a bad angle, and allows me to take the Anker cable off and put it in the arm rest when we are not on a trip. I travel often and purchased two of these cables to reduce the number of chargers I carry. They do not appear to support bi-directional communication for things like USB-Airplay but that is not unexpected. Overall very pleased with the length value and I trust they will last a long time.

However, the one drawback is that in order to maximize charging speed for both devices, they need to operate at the same voltage. If one device charges at a different voltage than the other, the speed may be reduced, affecting the efficiency. Highly recommended for its versatility and convenience! - BGHQuality USBc charging cable splitterQuality build. Generally works well. this is my second purchase. First working well, so I got another. I use a female to female connector to extend and add additional USBc male connector. I did find that if I connect to USBc charging port on iPad magic keyboard, it will work but connecting anything to the second cable, prevents the iPad from charging. It will work find if connected directly to the iPad, not the keyboard. Both of my devices work this way. Both the iPad and second device total 40w - well within the specs for the device. Still works well and this glitch is not enough to remove a star in the ratings.
