- Ringo5000MehIts DJU, so it good by normal standards.... but not so good for something from DJI. Its laggy on the controls and in any FPV mode is flies like trying to balance a brick on a pencil. Having the ability to control to gain for the controls would help, but that's not available for all controllers. (any? I didn't check the RC2 controller)
The battery time is much lower than they claim and the range isn't as good as my Avata 2. (Or any of my drones except my old Phantoms)
The camera(s) are weird and while they do a good job for a 360 camera, they aren't very sharp. Is it worth getting? For myself, yes. Ill use it for a 360 drone and have fun. But its NOT an FPV drone unless DJI does some major updating. If you want your first drone, this isn't it. (Neo 2 is a good choice) It you're looking for an FPV drone, this is NOT it either. (Neo 1 or 2 with goggles make great first FPV drone platforms that I still use often because they're fun and take a beating.)
I have liked DJI for many years, but make sure you get the drone that fits your needs and avoid listening to all the 360 fanboys who probably got theirs free and are contractually obligated to give it hig marks and cover over obvious shortcomings.
