Top reviews from the United States

  • A very cozy and spicy holiday romance
I thought the book was a great one. It is the 3rd in the series. It is set in December and around Christmas. I loved it. I think that I like the 2nd one better. The vibes are cozy and have a hot chocolate read. I have the Paperback and the audio book. I listened to the audio book while I followed along with the paperback. I love the setting of the small town during Christmas.

Kira picked up her life in Georgia to buy a Christmas Tree Farm even though she doesn't like Christmas. She was determined to be independent and prove to herself she can do it. At first, she was really annoyed when Bennet Ellis, Jeanie's brother, visiting from San Francisco for the holidays. Bennet swoops in to be her small town fix-it hero. That is until she realizes she may want to keep Ben around for other things. Bennet is Jeanie's brother so it was important to have read the first two books to get the full story. Another thing that I liked about this book was the dogs. The dogs were adorable. I am glad that she picked a pitbull breed in the book.

This book is not a standalone holiday romance. It is worth picking up if you are in the mood for something festive with likable characters and a bit of humor.
The book was in great condition when I got it.
  • Love this series!
Another cozy, fairly short and fairly low drama romance in this series. The fact that it is set around Christmas did give it an edge and I just loved it too. While this is in the shorter side the characters still had depth and their respective backgrounds were very interesting. Overall, a wonderful addition to this series.

Again, I am not giving up my emotional roller coaster, at times drama filled, longer romance books, but these are wonderful reads. Each books has left me feeling all the great vibes without as much heart string pulling, and yet that facet is still present.
  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I enjoyed The Christmas Tree Farm much more than The Pumpkin Spice Café. While I may have been a little harsh on my review of the latter, this book redeemed itself with smoother writing, a more entertaining flow, and characters I actually enjoyed spending time with.

Kira was such a relatable protagonist for me. Her struggles on the ice rink hit close to home because, like her, I can’t skate to save my life either! Those little moments added a personal connection that I really appreciated.

Another highlight for me was the humor, especially the digs and witty remarks sprinkled throughout the story. They kept things light and fun without going over the top. The holiday vibes and charm of the Christmas tree farm setting were also a nice touch, making it a cozy seasonal read.

While this wasn’t a standout holiday romance for me, it’s definitely worth picking up if you’re in the mood for something festive with likable characters and a bit of humor.
  • Very Explicit but Good Christmas Story
Well written, great read. A little too racy for my taste. I didn't realize "spicy" in the book description meant explicit detail. The overall Christmas story was good.
Definitely not recommended for under 18.
  • A wonderful love story.
This was such a beautiful and sweet love story. I have loved this series so much and I see now firsthand how it has definitely lived up to the hype. I adored these two characters and I look forward to reading more books in this series.
  • Hallmark Christmas movie with spice vibes.
When I started reading The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore I didn't know if I was actually in the mood for a romance, but this book quickly changed my mind.

I love the Hallmark Christmas movie with spice vibes, I love that it was predictable, I adore the characters and I had a great time reading it.

I listened to the audiobook while following along in the ebook, I still don't love the narrator of these books, but I enjoy the stories, so I can get past it.
  • So much holiday fun!
    LOVED ????????????

I thought book 2 was my favorite. Nope. It’s this one. This was so fun and big time SEX-y time. I am so glad I waited until Christmas to read, such a fun vibe. Plus I loved that the grump was the female lead. ????
  • Good but not my favorite
So far I've enjoyed the books in this series. I love the authors style but this one kind of left me wanting in the end. I felt like I didn't get as much of a connection with the characters stories and also it was less spicy in my opinion compared to the other 2 stories. Not a bad read, and I'd still recommend it if you enjoyed the other 2 books in the series, it's just not my favorite.
