First of all: it makes the wine taste better. I don’t know the science behind aerating, oxygen molecules, tannins, whatever — all I know is my $12 grocery store red suddenly tastes like something I should NOT be drinking on a Tuesday. The audacity.
Second: it’s automatic, which means my laziness is fully supported. Press a button, and boom — perfect pour. No drips, no splashing, no pretending to know how to swirl a bottle. It just… does the job while I stand there feeling fancy.
Third: it’s rechargeable. No hunting down AA batteries that are somehow always dying only when you need them for something important (like wine, a literal medical necessity).
Bonus perk: It makes me look way more put together when hosting. Guests see this thing and instantly assume I have my life together, even though I absolutely do not.
I’ve bought this twice now because once you own one, you become the person who aggressively recommends it to everyone you know. Honestly, it should come with a warning label: “Will make you insufferably bougie.”
