- LailahAwesome kids water bottleWe have at least a dozen water bottles and this is probably my favorite to use for my kiddo and is the one we bring to school. It has all the features I was looking for:
1) Perfect size for a toddler to early grade school aged child, and fits small hands;
2) Made of stainless steel, sturdy yet not heavy for a toddler to carry;
3) Drinking spout is made of silicone, not plastic;
4) The best feature is that the lid closes over the spout and pops open with the touch of a button, ensuring that the mouthpiece keeps clean and covered when not in use, and your hand doesn’t have to touch it either. For hygiene reasons the lid was a really important design feature to us and was something I specifically looked for in a kids water bottle: that the mouthpiece is not exposed, the lid can be opened by a young child without effort and is attached to the bottle so won’t get lost;
5) Easy to clean and the silicone part pops off and on easily. The seal works well and the bottle has not leaked so far;
6) Keeps beverages cool or hot/warm for a good while. I haven’t tested how long, but for our purposes it’s fine for getting through a school day (not looking for rugged outback multi-day peak performance functionality here);
6) Also nice that they come in many colors and designs!
It was surprisingly uncommon to find a water bottle that fit all these criteria, so I was really happy to come across this Thermos bottle that fit the bill! One child has had this type of bottle for almost a year and absolutely enjoys it! My other children wanted one too so they all got these water bottles! Great quality. Easy to clean, stays cold for a while. Bearly any leaking which is great when having children. Its a nice size so they arnt having to fill them up often but not so long the water gets nasty. The bottles are easy to hold onto and carry around!

- MelissaDollarbucks well spent :) The cutest, most practical thermos I keep reaching forI genuinely love this cup (so far). The design is adorable (obviously) my toddler loves Bluey. It’s stainless steel, and it keeps drinks the right temperature. The bottom has a maybe some type of plastic ish barrier or something on the base, so when it gets dropped, and it will get dropped, it doesn’t dent as easily maybe just leaves a scuff.
A couple things worth mentioning: there’s no valve in the straw and it’s bent kind of forward which to my knowledge is actually great for speech/oral development and my toddler seems to do well with, but it also means it could leak a little if it were left open. Thankfully, when the cap is closed, it hasn’t leaked once. Also, the cap pops open easily and shuts smoothly with just a little click. The little carry handle is super convenient, and the size is perfect for toddler portions.
Only improvement I’d add? Probably a silicone boot on the bottom. It would make it quieter, grippier, and give it a little more protection.
Overall: cute, functional, seems pretty durable, and we keep grabbing this cup for at home and also out and about because it’s been perfect. - JohanaGreat water bottle optionGreat quality and awesome design, my son loves it. It’s also easy to take apart and wash. Leak resistant and fits in most car seat cup holders.
- Angela NottinghamJust get itI picked up a Thermos Brand Bluey cup at Target at random. Ok, so it was on an end cap and my son wanted it so I said ok. I liked it so much I bought this one here.
First of all, before I was using other brands for his water bottle at school. Sippy cups, NUK brand, that one made from recycled plastic, anything. Usually plastic and typically see through. That stops NOW (for him taking to school, I'm not throwing the others out---yet).
First of all, I forgot what made a Thermos great: the insulation. This kid will have his water bottle with ice full at night, and still have ice in the morning. I know when he goes to school his water will stay COLD (it isn't for hot drinks).
Second of all, it is durable. Toddler durable. Toddler winging it across a parking lot as they are swinging around telling you a story about Paw-Patrol durable. Sure there may be some surface scrapes, but deep down it's ok. And so are you.
This thing is so easy to clean in a dishwasher or by hand. Some sippy cups it feels like you are a EOD expert taking apart and assembling the pieces. Not this guy, pop off the lid, pop off the straw, pop off the mouth piece and clean.
Leak proof? Pretty much so, unless you don't screw it on properly. If the lid/mouthpiece is open, yea it leaks, but so do most things when the lids are open.
Am I worried about lingering odors? My kid loves water. Like, legit, it's his favorite. We only use this for water so there are no odors.
Am I worried about his orthodontic growth due to the impact sippy cups have on his forming teeth? No, is this a new thing? I just want my kid hydrated and not chugging sugar all day.
Does it hurt when you drop it on your toe? Oh, you betcha.
Will I be buying more? Yes, he has already stated he wanted a space one.
