- GreatLakesGuyA Modern Family Christmas ClassicThis Christmas movie hit home with us. It is a quality film, because it was done by Dallas Jenkin, director of The Chosen. It is deals with themes of grace, pride, forgiveness, love, giving, and redemption. Do not judge by appearances or one's lot in life, because you do not know what they are going through. The story of the birth of Christ is woven throughout the film, and the Christmas Pageant. It is worth seeing and putting on your annual Christmas film list.

- BethPerfect addition to Christmas DVD collectionWe saw this movie last year in the theater during a Special Engagement pre-release and loved it so much that we encouraged everyone we knew to see it too. I have been waiting to buy the DVD. So much about it is great, including the writing and casting. The younger actors especially were just perfect! It's such a wonderful adaptation of the book, appropriate for all ages, and it also emphasizes the true meaning of Christmas without being cringy. I'm looking forward to watching it again this year and every holiday season for years to come. It is truly that good.

- Elizabeth the HomemakerReally fun and real life messagesI thought it was pretty good/great. I don’t like a lot of movies; it’s hard for me to sit still that long. But my daughter wanted to watch a Christmas movie, and I picked this new one and was pleasantly surprised by it. A decent number of parent jokes in it, and how silly mom culture can be—-even in church.
The kids learning how to not be judgmental is a massive lesson for all kids to learn. I loved the main character Beth for this. She had an expressive face for a kid.
The climax-scene of the actual pageant, and the kids’s behavior really did catch my heart. It was sweet. For sure.
