- PineappleAdore Clarence and Miss Scarlet! What a wonderful show! The story lines and the dynamics between the various interesting characters are very entertaining. And, I just LOVE Clarence! Every scene with him is so hilarious and I burst out laughing every time. The way he hovers over Miss Scarlet when she receives word from Scotland Yard, his facial expressions are all laugh out loud moments. So happy for Season 6 and to see my favorite characters again!
- chrisThe BEST season yet, Clarence and Moses working together, incredible !!!!This season has been beyond amazing, Clarence has a bigger role thus trying to keep Eliza from getting in trouble and adding humor. Mores returned for an episode that together with Lawrence was the best episode of the series. Definitely the waters have brought the series up a few notches . hope to see more of Clarence and Moses. can't wait for the next season
- Eleanor KawasakiExcellent from start to finish!Another brilliant season! I can't praise the writers enough for bringing in Inspector Blake - I enjoy him so much more than the Duke. Eliza and Alexander are developing a really lovely relationship, and I can't wait to see what shenanigans they get up to in the next season. (Please greenlight another season!!!) Also, Ivy, Barnabus, and Clarence were a hoot and it was great to have Moses back for a couple of episodes. The new DS is nice, but I did pine a bit for Fitzroy...
- KMSanDiegoTales of the One of the First Female Detectives in London (Fiction)Very interesting tales of the one of the first female detectives establishing herself in Victorian London. Fiction.
- Richard C. Marshall2025 in Victorian costumesThis show (and season) had such potential to be truly great. Instead, it’s just an attempt to force feed us fifth wave feminism. I was really hoping Miss Scarlet would finally grow up and get married. What a disappointment… yet again! Both her character and that of Inspector Blake are overly childish in this season; it was difficult to watch them acting like teenagers, instead of committed and mature adults as they should be at these ages. Also, almost nothing in this show - save the sets and costumes- is authentic to the Victorian era. Women would never be lined up outside her office for detective positions… Eliza and Blake would not be unchaperoned during their courtship let alone making out in the kitchen. There are too many examples to list. I can get past the a-historicity of the show if they didn’t push the “women must have a career first, career above all else!!” mantra. This very much felt like the poor writing/storyline so typical in 2025, but acted in Victorian costumes. It would have been infinitely more interesting and exciting to see them get married and work side by side on solving cases. The amount of beauty and fascination that goes on between a man and a woman is enough to make ten more good seasons, each showcasing their unique traits and talents as man and wife. Instead it’s just Eliza trying to force herself into a man’s role. Nothing new there. Look anywhere in our culture today and that’s what you’ll find. So utterly boring and overdone. If you want an excellent story (and acting) with a riveting mystery in the Victorian age, look no further than the genius of Dickens and watch BBC’s Bleak House.
I’d recommend skipping Rachael New’s poor production. She really missed a great opportunity with this show. - david berryAwesomeAll 6 seasons are absolutely amazing
Hopefully there is a season 7
Love Miss scarlet - FrancescaOne of my top showsI loved this season! Entertaining as the past ones, Eliza always fun, the whole cast does not disappoint: more please!!!
- J. MullallyStorylines great, acting flatMaybe this is going to be the last season of the show? The energy of the performances just wasn't there. I also guess this because of some of the old characters coming back for a reprise. I thought the romance would add interest but it just totally dragged down everything. Moses was great as always, Blake was like a noddy dog. Having said that, the story lines were really strong, nd I did like the new detective Willows. Ivy is always solid, with the same perkiness to her performance, and Barnabus was even fun as well. Maybe there's really no chemistry between the lead actors as compared to Miss Scarlett and the Duke, but this was almost painful to watch in places. The diamond storyline was hilarious, though, and Phelps and his uncle and the Scotland Yard lock down was great. Lots of tension, suspense, and actors off their (directorial?) leashes. The Scotland Yard lockdown was tops. I knew something was really badly wrong.... Willows is a hero in the end. If there is another season, they need to get the fiery Miss Scarlett back, not the moonstruck whiner in this series always creating problems where there don't have to be any.
