- LektroGreat Packaging, Great Transfer, Fun MovieHappy with this DigiPack version over the standard edition. I like that the outer sleeve photos and quote are from Nina’s perspective, and the inside cover is from Millie’s point of view. The packaging is the same height as a standard release but it’s a bit wider than steelbooks or standard release blu-rays. So it’s a little bit awkward. Incredibly silly movie that makes zero logical sense whatsoever. But I absolutely love it, these days we don’t see many domestic thrillers in the vein of basic instinct, wild things or sliver. We need more of this! Too many remakes, audiences need a good reason to support movies.
This product is as expected, it’s a 4k transfer offa modern production that looks incredibly slick without any flaws to speak of. Personally I prefer movies shot on film, but there’s nothing wrong visually with the movie or the disc. Here the subject matter consists of mostly close-ups, mostly indoor shots, focusing on the characters more than the environment (as expected for this kind of movie).
If you have any kind of nostalgia for Hollywood prior to 2010, you may find yourself immersed in this ridiculous story and having a lot of fun watching the extremely good looking characters do diabolical things to each other. - saboor khanGreat taleWhy not?!
