- SarahLove this album, did not love the vinylI was super excited to get this album on vinyl as I have listened to it dozens of times since it came out. When it arrived I immediately noticed that the sleeve was ripped and the edge of the vinyl had been rubbing/hitting the packaging and the edge was slightly damaged. It did seem to impact the first song with some slight skipping, and I would’ve been willing to overlook that if the audio levels weren’t also off. The vocals are significantly quieter on the vinyl pressing than other versions, I can barely hear them and the words are indistinguishable. I pulled up the streaming version just to make sure I wasn’t wrong and the levels between the vocals and instruments are very different and much more balanced and clear. I have many other albums that I both stream and listen to on record and have never had this drastic of a difference. I love this album and the music, but something is not right with this pressing and it is not enjoyable so I am returning.
