So glad I experienced this Era of music. 80s & 90s music to my generation is what the 50s thru 70s music was for my parents but the beauty of it is, even my Mom liked the sound of Dangelos voice and I understood because I loved the sound of Sam Cookes voice as a teenager when she played his music on our stereo.
I remember a long time ago a guy who wanted to take me out on a date, asked me what kind of date night I wanted and I remember saying, a Dangelo kind of night and he definitely understood.
That is the effect his music had and will continue to have for many generations to come.

I remember enjoying the smooth melodies as a kid, but you need to get a little older to really feel every aspect of the cd, especially the lyrics. This is one of those albums where not only can you listen to every song in it's entirety but you can feel each track taking you through different emotions. The album is R&B, with a jazzy vibe to it. It effortlessly fuses classic soul with a contemporary 90s sound; the flow on the lyrics sometimes have a hip-hop vibe to them. Really, it's timeless. I was shocked to read the credits and realize that he not only sang, but also wrote, arranged, and produced this masterpiece. Hope he makes more music in the future.
