Great guitarist - D ethridgeGreat CD !!!This disc is every bit as good and even better than I remembered it from when I originally had it when it first came out . my first copy was on 8 track tape. It is great to see this on CD. Of course they could have added some bonus tracks on this re release like they did on Bridge of Sighs, but it is still great to see this in print again.
- A Tabish... is by far what a live album should sound like his live version of Daydream is truly mind boggling ...This is by far what a live album should sound like his live version of Daydream is truly mind boggling the way he sustained those notes was a one off time I've heard many other live versions of this song and he doesn't come close to playing that solo as he does here. I love this album and was well worth the price for just that smoking version of Daydream I can close my eyes and float on those notes
He plays..such a classic live album from a bygone era. - 2011FivePointOBlast from the past...I bought this back in the day on an 8 Track, because I liked the cover, and had no idea who Robin Trower was.
Mind you, I was 15 years old more or less. What a suprised when the opening track Too Rolling Stoned started.
I was just blown away with how cool it sounded in my stereo back then.
The rest of the tunes are also very good, and I would rate this very high in my opinion.
I did not give the five stars, because of one song that I just did not like, but the rest are excellent.
I still wonder to this day, why he was not as big in the US as in other parts of the world.
On a nice sunny day, I put on this cd, specially the opening track and enjoy the drive much more. - RawbeanowitzOld school Robin TrowerThe last time I had "Robin Trower Live" it was on a cassette. I had it in a boom box on a job site. I left that day & forgot the boom box. No great loss, it was junk. But I was upset about losing this cassette. It was hard to find until I went on Amazon. I am so happy to have this replaced. (This time on CD) It reminds me of life growing up & the bad-az jams of the time.
- RayTrower Live at his best.Robin Trower is a very talented blues guitarist with so much to offer. This album is a very entertaining trippy album which brings back memories of the 70's especially with this king of music. I love the album and some of the other albums Robin Trower did back in the 70's.
