  • Friendly Reminder: Like most electronic devices, the battery may naturally discharge during long-term storage, so the initial power level may be low or even depleted. Please fully charge the amplifier before first use to ensure stable performance. (Indicator light reference: Red = low battery; Blue = charging, the blue light turns off automatically when fully charged.)
  • How to minimize noise on the Drive channel: Please avoid using the amp at low battery levels or while it’s charging. Due to the nature of drive circuits, a slight background hiss is normal. When the power supply becomes unstable (such as during low battery or charging), this natural hiss may become more noticeable. If beginners find the Drive channel harder to control, we recommend starting with the Clean channel and gradually transitioning to the Drive channel

  • Impressed! This is a cool lil AMP !
I read a lot of the reviews before purchasing this lil amp as well as looking on youtube and watching reviews on it before deciding to purchase.
Still wasn't sure what to expect sound-wise, but ............
THIS IS ONE COOL LIL AMP !!!
I love it! It's totally portable because it's rechargeable and the sound is good !
Also, it really seems well built and love the added touches like a much larger amp's looks.
Love the 'dirty' feature too !
I just use this for my own enjoyment when practicing my octave mandolin and I'm impressed with the sound!

I say, you can't go wrong.........* price, hey, really? Good deal !
    * Sound quality, heck yeah! Granted, not if you're going onstage, but it's not
    meant for that.
    * Fun! It gives a whole new prospective of your playing !
    * OH! Also has a feature where you can plug in your phone if you recorded, say,
playing rhythm and have it play through the amp while then you can play the
    melody with it.

I say you can't go wrong and that it's worth buying this lil amp !
  • The practice amp every guitar player needs
For $40, this amp is really impressive. It sounds great and brings out the character of my strat/tele hybrid really well. For reference, I normally use an HX stomp. The speakers are loud enough but not too loud. The downside is that the headphone plugin doesn't sound great. And it would be great if it had some reverb. But, playing with the speakers in a room removes some of the need for reverb. The controls are good too, very usable. The gain knob has a wide range and I can get clean sounds if I lower my guitars volume so it allows for good dynamics. The tone is also great, and gets pretty trebly if you turn it up, meaning that 'darker' guitars like a les paul will have clarity playing through this amp. Plus it charges via usb-c. For $40, this is a really good practice amp that won't hide your flaws and will be somewhat inspiring as you play it.
  • Cool lil amp
For what it is it's worth the 40 bucks . Sounds good enough for what it is.
  • Very Clean Rich Tone/UPDATE: Use on Vintage Guitar
    UPDATE 6/23/2025

I just bought a 1965 Semi hollowbody electric guitar. It has all original parts. After rewiring to get rid of the 60 year old wiring, I played it on the Flatson's amp. WOW! The combination of a vintage guitar with original components, and the Flatson's amp is a winner. I believe it's because the Flatson's amp is all analog. I've got access to pretty much every kind of guitar out there, and I couldn't put the 65 down. Yes, the guitar has a great voice, but when paired with this amp, it's outstanding.

So, if anyone is looking at this little amp and wondering how it would sound with a vintage instrument, look no further. The combination is fantastic.

I'm a luthier. I build custom acoustic guitars. I repair all types of guitars and I restore historical guitars. I work on electric and acoustic electric guitars. I install pickups in acoustics and I repair the wiring, etc in electrics. I personally own a 1965 semi hollowbody electric, a 1957 hollowbody electric, and an acoustic electric. I have several professional musician clients who play electric and acoustic electric guitars. I keep a couple of small amps in my shop to test guitars and I like to use small amps when I play.

When testing and repairing guitars, I prefer amps that produce a very clean sound. My business is unique; I like these tiny amps, because sometimes I have to pack up tools and travel to my clients. Even a small amp can be a lot to carry.

I've tried and owned several very well-known, name-brand amps. One in particular was a famous brand, but at 1 watt didn't have enough output to really hear the instrument. I sent it back. I don't always have convenient access to electric outlets and I go through a lot of batteries so I decided to find a rechargeable mini amp for my own use. I ordered a different brand, which sounded okay. Then I saw the Flatsons on Amazon and liked what I heard after watching several video reviews. I also liked that this amp is analog, which would account for the clean sound. I can't diagnose problems with the overdrive or distortion settings, so a good clean, well-rounded sound is imperative. I took a chance and ordered the Flatsons.

It's impressed the heck out of me. It amplifies the true voice of the guitar. As tiny as it is, it packs 10 watts, which is very impressive. It amplifies guitars more than enough to hear subtle nuances, for diagnosis. It makes my job easier. I liked it so much, I've ordered a total of 3 of them. I'm keeping one in the shop and one with the '57 and the other with the '65.

Compared to 5 other brands of mini amps, the Flatsons' build quality is much better. It feels a lot more solid. It weighs more than the others, but it's not too heavy. It's small enough to fit into a guitar case with the guitar. It packs enough wattage to really amplify the instrument. It's nice looking with a vintage feel. I use it with a TRS cable. Although most guitars output an unbalanced mono signal, I prefer the TRS cables, especially for testng; TR cables have a tendency to transmit interface from the unbalanced signal.

The build quality, sound, 10 watts, retro looks, and rechargeability, make the Flatsons a big winner among mini amps. This is no toy, but a true amplifier. The price point is $20 less than big brand-name mini amps that have less than 1/2 the wattage output. Don't waste your money on them. I highly recommend the Flatson.
  • Great Little Practice Amp with Versatile Tones
A great little practice amp for the price. More fun to play with than a 5-watt, but still won't disturb your housemates or get you kicked out of a hotel. The 1/8-inch headphone jack delivers a satisfyingly loud signal.

At first, I was less than impressed with the tone. But after messing around with the gain, tone, and volume controls for an hour, and the clean/overdrive switch, I found surprisingly good sounds. Some might be counterintuitive, such as cranking the gain in clean mode and backing off a bit of treble and volume, which adds a lovely bit of sustain and boost to clean notes without sounding distorted. Similarly, cranking the volume on the drive setting while experimenting with the gain and tone knobs results in a spectrum of sounds from jangly 60s to dirty buzzsaws to crunchy metal.

You already know it won't be the most jaw-droppingly awesome amp you'll ever play, and it doesn't need to be. It's portable, easy to use, has a nice tonal range for its size, and will help you practice on electric guitar without breaking the bank.

If I could squeeze one more feature into this compact box, it would be a reverb/delay setting. Then this little amp would be a one-stop shop for not just clean and dirty sounds, but also trippy and spacey. But that's a minor complaint in a world where you can just add a delay pedal to this rig, and still fit it all inside a gig-bag pocket with a couple of cables.

The vintage tweed amp design looks nice, like a miniature classic. Or, like you just adopted an adorable baby who will someday grow up to be a Marshall JCM800. Whether you're just starting out and want to practice while saving up for a bigger amp, or you find yourself on the road and need to think small, this little baby should take good care of you.
