I swapped in Alexa-compatible smart bulbs, and they work perfectly with these lamps. The included shades look nice once assembled, though they’re a little flimsy, so I’d just avoid bumping into them.

Bright, elegant, and a great value. - Dawn7203Somewhat Disappointed to Pleasantly Surprised that I Purchased a Second One***UPDATED 7.22.2025: Upon using the lamp for a month, I grew to like it. Liked it so much so, that when I needed another floor lamp, I purchased a second one! Don't get me wrong, I still find that these lamps are sort of "cheap" and the shades are flimsy, however what makes up for it is the remote operated light control and foot operation. Assembly of the pole is super easy - It's that lamp shade that's sort of "annoying" as you have to wrap it around the supports and put it into these clips...Other than that I love the choices on the remote to choose what kind of lighting I want for the time of the day: either a warm or cool color, the dimming options and the sleep timer. I also realized that I don't mind the quality or lack of after all because it's a great space saving floor lamp, it's not obtrusive, and most importantly it services its purpose for a great price! For this, I will bump up the stars to 5 stars. Oh, plus it's shipped quickly!
***ORIGINAL REVIEW, JUNE 2025: I purchased this floor lamp to add extra light to my living room. If you're looking for quality, take it with a grain of salt so to speak on this purchase. Directions are super easy to follow for assembling (why I give it three stars), however, the overall product is fairly "cheap" for lack of a better word. The lamp shade is flimsy and we put the lamp purposefully in a corner to ensure that it doesn't tip over. The foot operation and remote operation are nice features.
I wouldn't say that this is a "you get what you paid for" situation as I've made many inexpensive purchases that are wonderful products. This just isn't it.
Will keep it for now until we find a better quality floor lamp. Let my review be part of your "due diligence" before you buy.
