The boxes are large enough to write in too, and being ruled are easy to keep each item separate. It is very sturdy, there is a wide band at the top with extra binding, and the bottom corners are reinforced, with extra space to write around these edges. This calendar has all the features I wanted, at a very reasonable price.

The large size gives me plenty of space to jot down appointments, reminders, and notes for each day without feeling cramped. The ruled blocks keep everything neat and easy to read, and I like that the pages tear away cleanly at the end of each month.
The paper quality is good—sturdy enough that ink doesn’t bleed through—and the wide margins along the top and bottom are great for extra notes or doodles. It lays flat on my desk and doubles as a nice writing surface, too.

The print of the date is large enough and printed in black (not a light color ink) so that it stands out. It has a small note section at the top, large squares to write in, the julian date in each square, and all of the months of the year at the bottom. The Staples seller was great. They put the calendar in a hard protective plastic sleeve, and put the sleeve in a tough plastic shipping bag and shipped the the calendar quickly. I bought one of these in the past from a different seller and that seller didn't protect the calendar at all. They put a shipping label on the original thin cellophane wrapped calendar with no protection and shipped it. This seller was so much better. I will buy from them again with no problem.
