- Aida I.Marking a special eventI bought this letter board to preserve my son’s first day in his first grade and it turned out so nice. We already made some pretend pix and they came out perfect! We used it for the classic “first day of school” picture and the size was just right for him to hold. The letters were easy to put on once I popped them out (the first time was a little bit tricky but then it was fine).
The wood frame looks really nice and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The black felt makes the white letters stand out great in photos. My son loved helping me spell out his name and the year, which made it even more fun.
Only small downside is that there’s no bag to store the letters, so I just put them in a sandwich bag for now. Not a big deal but would have been nice to have.

The felt fabric is also quite hard, so it takes effort to press the letters in. It also didn’t come with a stand to hold the board, which was disappointing.
