- That personAll set for the winter nowI'm hoping this 50 pound bag will last me through the winter. It works very well, spreads very easily and so far hasn't clumped together. It definitely keeps ice from forming overnight and keeps my steps and sidewalk safe. Great price for the size of the bag too. Especially considering the cost of the stuff from Walmart.

Doesn’t hurt my pups paws if she steps on it. Works fast and well. Love that it’s a good value and I’m not only keeping my pup safe but any other that walk on my sidewalk.
- SiR CueWorks well for small to mid storms.I live in NJ where we get a lot of snow for the winter months and I spread this before a storm and it works very well. If it’s a small storm this melts the snow before it could build up. However, if it’s a heavy storm it struggles to melt the snow. Once thing I don’t like is that if you kept it stored for the next year, it clumps up bad and hard to break it up. If you use it for the same season you shouldn’t have a problem.
- sandcastleExcellent in cold, windy weatherI have been using this ice melt for a couple of years and have found that it works great on my driveway, steps and sidewalk. It hasn't mattered if it was cold, snowing or blowing. It melted what was there and kept it clear for a reasonable amount of time (weather permitting). Color makes it easy to see where you placed it and the size is large enough to not just disappear, but also small enough to spread very well.
