The camera’s sharp, the app actually IDs birds pretty well, and the solar roof saves me from charging it all the time. Only downside is it sometimes misses quick visits, and cloudy days can drain the battery faster. Still, it’s fun and makes bird-watching way more interactive. Easy to put together and seems hardy.

- Cindy McCauleyWatch out for squirrelsBought this for my mom‘s birthday back in March. After using it for a while I can tell you it is super cool to watch and see the birds that come up to the theater. Picture quality is very good. Only recommendation is to put it wherever you can to keep it out of reach of the squirrels. They will climb up on it, and you will get many squirrel shots, and they actually chewed through the top of hers and through the cord. So just be careful of where you place it, but it is a great feeder.

The installation was very simple, everything was easily placed in place and comes with components for a basic installation to hang it or add it to a bird tower. The identification based on artificial intelligence is impressively accurate, which makes learning about local wildlife in real time easy and fun, I really loved it and the little birds much more, if you like to see the beautiful birds up close and without having to bother them, I highly recommend them.

- AWCincyA Bird Feeder for everyone to watchWe love our Bird Buddy, especially the solar feature. What a great item to capture nature for men, women, and children of all ages! It's made well and was easy to assemble (really not much to it) and pairing the camera with our Wi-Fi and Bluetooth was fairly straightforward. You can reverse the roof top solar panel if needed to catch more of the rays for charging. We've had ours out for about a week now, and although we've had mostly overcast days, the camera has never been below 82 percent charge. The camera does go to sleep when it gets dark. I was hoping to also see nighttime creatures, but not the case. It holds plenty of seed, although the back door in which you load it can be a bit difficult to keep closed because of the camera wire.
Download the app and it displays video and photos of your feathered friends visit and the AI program helps to identify the birds. You can set up notifications to let you know when you've had a visitor. There is a short delay from camera to app, so don't get worried if you see a bird at your feeder and are not receiving a notification. Some of the smaller birds who swoop in for a quick bite aren't sometimes recorded, but you do get views of most of the birds. I find myself waiting for the notifications so I can see who visited. The yearly fee for the AI program was a little expensive in my opinion, but you are able to share views of your feeder with others. Pleased with my order.
