We've been able to identify regulars and see some birds we weren't even expecting. Also easy to assemble, sturdy and has accessories for different feeding styles.

- Tim D.Very Nice but now I hate Squirrels!There are so many of these feeders online it's really hard to choose. I got this one because I recognized the cam as one I had used before for home security and it worked well. Also liked the simple smooth roof design, and the remote solar panel. It all went together easy and set up great. Connection was no problem, I am at the far limit of my house wi-fi but it still connects, a little laggy but good. It is mesmerizing and wonderful seeing the birds up close an all their interactions. Some cam samples from other models didn't seem to have the close up depth of field but this one is just right. If you use notifications you will get many, I had to turn them off. My problem is with the squirrels! They chewed up the bottom piece the first day and continue to destructively overwhelm the feeder all the time now. They ignore the bright LED light and the siren too! I love all animals but these squirrels are testing my humanity and I'm thinking of looking for help from Katniss. So this has been wonderful for seeing birds but really frustrating with the varmints.

- JaneMust pay for bird identification. Not as advertisedI’m updating my review. You do have to pay for bird identification. However if I’m not sure of a bird I do a screen shot and google it. If you use a SD card and you don’t subscribe to the cloud storage, you will need to remove the SD card and put in computer to delete videos you don’t want. To get to your videos on the SD card you need to tap the iCloud icon so it will change over to your SD card videos. When I purchased my feeder I never saw anything about needing a subscription for bird ID. I may have overlooked it, but when I went back to the information it was very obviously there. I’m impressed with how clear the videos are. It even picks up people walking by so it’s just like a security camera. I have found that I cannot share videos from the feeder. I tried to send a video to my daughter so she could decide if she wanted one, but that was a no go. I have shared a video here but I’m not sure it can be viewed either. Maybe it’s how it’s formatted? It does need better instructions in my opinion. My first review was out of frustration because I have a more expensive feeder that identifies birds with no subscription. The expensive feeder had great instructions and more user friendly. So I’m going to keep this feeder and see how long it lasts. I’ve included picture and video.
This is just a camera. You have to pay $53.99 a year to have it identify birds. False advertising in my opinion. The app is Chinese. Also I have found no way to delete existing videos. Good luck even trying to figure out how to get to your videos. No instructions. Will not buy another one even at the cheaper price.
