- K. McCGreat Construction! Excellent Quality.Bought this to supplement my current snow shovel. It arrived early and was very easy to assemble in about 10 minutes. You do need a powered screwdriver though. It's really sturdy and not too heavy. The blade is solid too and feels like it will do a great job when the white stuff arrives. I'm looking forward to seeing how well it works!
- sulewTwo thumbs up!I don't write reviews. But.....
The Snowplow Shovel just arrived and so did the snow!
It really does plow through the snow!
At 5'5"....the 24" blade is the perfect size for me...plus it really is very light weight! It's surprisingly very sturdy too!
Assembly was easy...but I did need to use a small cordless drill for the self- tapping screws.
I started with about 3-4 inches of fluffy snow. Fast and easy clean up!
Then the wet stuff came down.
The shovel worked just as good!
I even used it to swiftly clear the snow off the hood and roof of my car!
(Not recommended...but it didn't scratch anything)
In comparison to everyone else that was shoveling their smaller driveways.....this Plow Shovel definitely speeds up the job of snow removal a lot!!!
I am super happy I found this product and read the reviews.
Two thumbs up!! Five Stars across the board! - My Diesel GennySnow plow toolSolid product and moves a lot of snow easily. Good investment to add to your snow removal tools.
- Michael N.The product is hwavy duty and make extremely wellExpensive shovel, I know. Worth it? Ehhh....The product is hwavy duty and make extremely well. There is no doubt about that. It does perform better than any other shovel I have used in the past. Again, no doubt. The only downside is the price. Maybe it simply costs what it costs and that is just the way it is. Maybe I am an old man and complain about price. Either way, you need to know that the product is amazing and works great. It just comes at a price.
- cynicatorGood so far. One more point needed to help in assembly.Rec'd this today. After watching assembly video and letting the shovel reach room temp, I assembled it. Not very difficult; if anything, a little awkward due to the slightly unwieldy size. (I bought the 30" blade).
All went well until screwing in the handle to the black brace. I inserted the handle, making sure it was facing the same way as shown in the instructions. It was a pretty snug fit. I then held the entire assembly upside-down and tapped the assembly against our front-porch pavers hoping to get the handle into the hole at the correct/full depth.
There are 3 indentations in the brace to accommodate the screws (very helpful). However, when drilling the holes I started farthest from the blade. The first 2 screws obviously went into the metal handle. (I saw small shards of metal when inserting the screws). However, I don't think the last one did. I saw no metal shards, and the screw went it far easier than the first 2. I think the 3rd isn't screwed through the handle. Now I'm a bit uncertain how long this will last before weakening, and it seems I'd only exacerbate any potential problems if I removed the screws and the handle, then re-inserted the handle and re-inserted the self-tapping screws into new holes in the handle. I held back 1 star for that.
I'd recommend the manufacturer add a line/some marking around the handle to ensure the handle has been inserted to the proper depth. Until they start doing that, I'd recommend buyers measure the depth of the hole and mark the handle to that depth to ensure the handle is fully seated into the brace.
Otherwise, it seems ready for the next snowfall, though now that I've bought this, like rain after washing your car, I know we've likely seen our last snowfall of the year. - BHExceeded My ExpectationsHad an inch of fluffy snow this morning, so it was a perfect test of my new 24" snow pusher shovel. My driveway is 16' wide and 10' long and I was able to clear the driveway in 10 minutes with no lifting of snow involved. The curve of the shovel held the snow that piled up as I pushed it across the drive. At no time did any snow stick to the shovel surface. I realize that for heavier snows, it will be necessary to do the clearing in layers. For major storms, like earlier this week when 12" of heavy snow came down, I'll use the snow removal service. All in all, the Snowplow Snow Pusher is a very sturdy, easy to use snow removal tool. I never thought I would actually enjoy snow removal until I used it.
Update: 2/14/25 - After a 4" snow, it rained, leaving a heavy, wet layer. The snow pusher could only move the snow maybe 2 feet before it piled up over the top. Since pushing any harder would have been hazardous to my health, my workaround was to push to the side in increments of a few feet. I was able to clear a narrow path from the front door to the mailbox. Even if I had my old gas powered snow blower, it would have stalled out or clogged trying to clear a wide path. The Snow Pusher is still a good buy.
