The video quality is clean, it has surprisingly great connecting, even in my older home, the battery so far has held out great, and the brightness and night vision works well and can be easily adjusted!
- Sergeant BananaDon't waste your money on the floodlight!I've had Blink cameras at my cabin for many years. I had an old outdoor cam in my driveway, and with all of the great wildlife it picked up I thought I'd get the floodlight to get better pics and videos. So I purchased one two years ago and it has been nothing but trouble. The flood light, the entire reason I got this one, keeps disconnecting and going inop. Then the camera goes offline. When I called support they said no problem, this was an infrequent problem and is easy to fix, just delete the camera and reinstall on the app. OK, how do I do that via the app?....oh sorry, you can't; you have to be in person. Not so easy as the camera is at my cabin, almost two hours away, and we are only up every two to three weeks. So, next time I was up to the cabin, I did as they said and it reconnected. Went back home and not even two days later it disconnected again. Three weeks later I'm up there again, and delete and reinstall. Lasted three days then disconnected. Next time up replaced the batteries...two years my a**...and it worked again...for a week. Next time up replaced the batteries in the camera and the floodlight. Lasted two weeks and then dead. Each time, the system says the battery level is OK and the WiFi connection is max. In all of the years we have used Blink products, the Outdoor 4 Spotlight is the only one that has ever had an issue. @Blink, unless you can provide a fix for all of us that have suffered through this mess of a product, you need to recall them and refund our money. I paid good money for a lump of crap.

- M. CullenDon't waste your cashI own three of these and the longest they have ever worked is one week. The camera's are never an issue. Just the flood lights. Connection is no issue, batteries are no issue. Simply put, you install the camera and flood lights and the flood lights work, until they don't. The only way to get them to work again is to delete the camera from your system, add the camera again with the flood lights and then they work again. For a couple of days.
Why 3? Well I had an older model so I bought the newer model hoping they improved the technology. The newer model worked for a week so I bought another one. Before the third one arrived the newer model stopped working too.
The blink system as a whole is great. The camera's, without flood lights are flawless, especially with third party solar panels. The camera's with flood lights? Well, the camera's are perfect, but the flood lights? Complete junk. - Corey L.Not very reliable, and that's not a good thing for a security camera.I'm pretty disappointed in these. I have 3, and two are constantly reporting the floodlights are offline even right after I've turned them on and off remotely. Then they are off for a few days, then suddenly reconnect. The batteries are brand new and I've re-seated the batteries and the USB connector several times. These just aren't very reliable. I get the feeling the metal battery tabs don't make good contact with the batteries and they don't handle temperature swings very well. I will buy no more of these.
- Richard LuckyVery good but some problems setting upI finally got the foodlight part working but it was a little stressful that's the reason for the 4 stars. instructions are pitiful even online. There was an invisible clear plastic insulator over one of the batteries that I finally discovered by accident. When I looked for help it said that sometimes the usb connection is problematic. I thought "Oh great they sold me a device that they knew had problems"
After plugging and unplugging the usb connector several times I finally found the invisible insulator and everything worked. There were 2 unidentified items in the box, after some research (on Google of course) I found that one of the items was used to mount the device on vinyl siding the other was the latest version of their sync module. - KM17535So far, so goodJust got this yesterday, but so far so good. It easily set up with my existing Blink 3 system and was easy to mount. I’ve read the issue with the floodlights and I had the same issue when setting up my current system. For me, it was the plastic piece covering the actual cord that plugs into the camera to keep water out. once I removed that I had no more issues. To ensure I didn’t have that issue yesterday with my Blink 4 camera, I plugged the cord into the camera and then took a screwdriver and pushed the guard piece down into the socket. So far, everything works as intended.
