- SuzieQWorks well and quicklyThis really is a fast-acting ice melt. Used it once so far and was very happy with it. I also like the size of the buckets it comes in as 25lbs is easier to handle. The scoop and the bucket itself are well made and sturdy and the scoop is a nice additional piece to have to make tossing the de-ice easily.

It couldn’t be used in my spreader for that reason, but using the included scoop i was able to lay enough down to melt a nice path to my truck and to my front door. Good value and saved us in a pinch!

They deliver it fast and as fast as I get it, we apply it to the ice on the front stairs and sidewalk and the ice is gone! The scoop that comes inside is an added feature which adds to the ease of using the product. It's very effective and it's a comfort to know I can rely on this product in the winter time.

I removed tab all way around and impossible to remove lid without hurting myself. Decided to try this one because it was 45 lbs and the others at 35 lbs weren't quite enough for our big drive. I kid you not, this is INCREDIBLE. We had 1-2 additional inches over what I'd already shoveled and decided to just throw it on top. The temperature had dropped and it was evening, applied it to the entire path and drive. The next morning, it hadn't done just a good job, it ate all of the snow on top, all the ice underneath and was perfectly dry. The only complaint is the lid. Usually there's a tab under the lid, this had nothing. Since all 45 lbs were to be used, I just busted the top with a hammer so it wasn't a problem. Even if it was bother, the melt works so perfectly I'd buy it anyway. Will buy again and definitely recommend!
