The quality is excellent, and it has such a charming, nostalgic look that immediately brings a smile to your face. I originally got it for myself, but my daughter loved it so much that she took it with her to college—and now it’s proudly on display in her dorm hallway! It’s been a hit with her roommates and neighbors, and they’ve even started dressing it up for holidays and special occasions.

The only thing I’d say is I wish the Amazon prices match the website direct prices because it is cheaper on the website.

- ChristineCute Addition to My PorchI have seen these porch geese on Amazon and my niece has one. I like the size 23". I put pea gravel in the base of the goose to give it stability. I have ordered a number of outfits for different seasons. While a bit expensive for all plastic, it is well made. I hope to have "Hilda" for many years sitting on my porch. It was shipped promptly by this company and well packed. If you need a little "something" for your porch, a "cousin of Hilda's" is the way to go!

- CidyLouWhoWhimsical DecorI love my whimsical porch goose and dress it for each season. Clothes are sold separately (Tip: Put clothes you like in your cart and wait for a price drop before buying). The only hesitation I have is that you must buy sand for the base. Sand sold separately. You only need a small amount of sand (less than 1 pound) in the base. Too much sand will cause the excess sand to leak out from under the tail. (My grandkids got a kick out of that! thinking the goose was going potty) Without sand, the goose doesn't stay up well when placed outside on the porch. Other than that, the goose is absolutely adorable, and I enjoy changing the outfits to fit the seasons. My goose has been up since the spring and has not faded or become damaged by the sun, wind, or rain.

It is the larger 23 inch size and has nice detailing both made into the plastic for the wings and feet shape and painting on the feet and bill area. It has an opening in the bottom to fill for weight. The bottom is marked with the Gaggleville logo. This one does not come with the "certificate of birth". The bill on mine is somehow slightly off but you really have to look at it to see it and it fits my personality so I wanted to keep it as a little quirky. It is just really ever so slightly tilted and I do stress slightly to where most people will never notice. I love being able to dress her up and she's exactly what I wanted and am very happy with my purchase.
