About this item
- High-Efficiency Monocrystalline Core: Precision-engineered with premium monocrystalline cells delivering 20%-25% photoelectric conversion efficiency (STC), outperforming polycrystalline and amorphous counterparts in energy yield under equivalent conditions.
- Adaptive Battery Preservation: Intelligent two-phase charging: rapid bulk charging replenishes low-voltage batteries, transitioning seamlessly to micro-current trickle mode at near-full capacity. Neutralizes self-discharge while preventing overcharge degradation, ensuring optimal 12V battery maintenance.
- Universal Compatibility Ecosystem: Versatile connectivity via OBDII, cigarette lighter, alligator clips, and O-ring interfaces. Supports vehicles, marine crafts, outdoor electronics (cameras, pumps, electric fences), and seasonal equipment. Compatible with lead-acid, LiFePO4, AGM, GEL, lithium, and flooded batteries.
- Fail-Safe Charging Intelligence: Integrated smart controller enables autonomous charge cycling - halting at full capacity, reactivating upon voltage drop. Guarantees zero reverse current discharge for perpetual battery safeguarding.
- Sustainable Energy Autonomy: Solar-powered preservation ideal for infrequently used assets. Proactively combats parasitic drain from vehicle telematics/alarms, ensuring instant start readiness. Engineered for battery longevity, not deep-cycle recharge.

- Sturgisman3Get the job done for a reasonable cost. This solar panel is working well after having tried two others which did not satisfy the requirements. I have it inside the windshield running the cable outside to the battery. Although this limits which direction I can park the car during the winter to get Sunshine on the panel, I remedy that by purchasing an additional cable. The panel itself has good quality suction cups, and I attach it with the included. carabiners. The panel has been attached to the windshield for some time and is still holding. We have not reached cold weather yet though hope that doesn’t affect it. The solar panel keeps my 12 V car battery at 13.6 votes. This is in full sunshine or cloudy, it doesn’t make any difference. The quality of the panel is very good. The included alligator clips are good quality, however, the wires are extremely thin. No problem though. It also includes a cigarette lighter plug-in, but with my vehicle, it does not produce the needed voltage going through that to the battery. Also, the included plug-in for the scanner attachment does not work to produce voltage at the battery as well at least not very much. I still give it five stars because it’s doing what I needed to do. In my case, I have isolated the battery by using a disconnect switch at the negative terminal. This way, I simply maintain the battery without having a constant load on it from the parasitic loads of modern vehicles.
- OrvilleJWorks as intended.Works great, I don't use my truck frequently and just sitting on my driveway, but having this solar charger makes it sure that I can still start my truck anytime and don't have to worry about my old battery gets discharged over time. This is just to maintain a good charge but not intended of charging a fully drained battery as it only produce little current and will take time to fully charge it.
- Bryan KingWorks great, durable, packs up easyCharged my phone and a radio on my hiking trip. Adds a little weight but it's versatile with multiple connectors so it's worth the peice of mind. Very durable and easy to pack up.
- tim policyPlay works very wellWorks well with my 2006 Dodge 2500. Keeps the battery topped off when I’m not using it strongly recommend for anybody that doesn’t drive their cars often.
- whittyConvenient and Efficient Solar ChargerI don't drive that frequently so keeping my car battery charged became an issue. Bought this, ran cables from the battery to the passenger compartment and stuck this in my windshield facing south. Gets hours of sun all year 'round and keeps the battery topped off. A great investment that has paid for itself already. Easy to install, easy to use and takes a load off my mind! 5-Stars, it's a winner.
- AMERICAN15.7 VOLTS ON OVERCAST DAYflexsolar 20w 12v tested with voltmeter making 15.7 volts on a 100% overcast drizzly day mounted under windshield is proof enough for me these are effective & reliable solar panels for car battery charging
- Stephen SOK purchase, gets about 33% of rated powerPlus side: it works as a solar panel. Minus side: it only produces about 9.5W in direct sunlight. Plus side: It also only produces about 9.5W in hazy light.
I tested this thing with a drained Anker 737 Power Bank connected to the USB-C out on the panel - primarily because it lets me see on the display both the charging rate and the discharge rate when things are plugged into it. At first I thought it was because the day was slightly hazy, but then when the sky cleared the output did not increase. I followed up with checking on it in early light and was charging at 5.5-6.5W.
Overall, though, decently built. Seems weather/water resistant, and it has single USB-A and USB-C ports on it, so you should be able to plug most modern small accessories like phones in and expect a decent but slow charge in reasonable light.
I was originally planning on the 10W version of this, but I'm glad I grabbed the 30W version since it's producing, well, ~10W. I'd expect other sizes to probably produce 33% of their rated power as well. - Eric W.Works for battery maintenance.Great for keeping my battery charged with a dash cam slowly drawing. A couple magnets and good to go.
