I'm property manager here at my apartment building so I need this as it's around 23 degrees today and ma drop in to single digits tonight. I use a Scotts spreader to distribute the salt, it works great, takes a bit to learn how to get it to work but it's a time saver and spreads the salt evenly. Just an idea to toss out to you all

Defective waste of my money!
Once got it open it was wet and didn’t know not supposed to be and where I used it stays icy and slippery now which is bad since that’s entrance to porch!

Had to use a heavy duty Dewalt carbon steel ice scraper to bash the container open. Ice melt substance comes out in clumps and needs to be spread around. After all that it works.
