- BB99 % salt do not buyThis product looks to be a mixture of 99 percent salt to 1 percent calcium chloride. it is not 100 percent calcium chloride. See the picture, the white pellets are the calcium chloride
- SunshineFANTASTIC it Saved Time and MoneyI decided to try this product for the 2020 snow season bought a 50lb. Bag. I am disabled and can’t shovel. My steps needed to be extremely safe, due to I have to be carried in and out in my home in a wheelchair.
I have bought several different products in the past and I can say for certain that this product did the job far better and for far less money
than any other product has. This was used daily on My steps, Front walkway and sidewalks. I normally have to hire the kids in my neighborhood to do the shoveling for me however, after buying this product I did Not have to have the kids do any shoveling whatsoever.
This stuff worked wonderfully only needed to sprinkle a little bit down daily and it kept the snow and ice melted all winter long.
What made this product even more of a hit after sprinkling a bit each day you can see and feel that there was still some on the ground when it was time to re sprinkle.
It SAVED me time and money I did not need to buy any more that 50lb. Bag lasted me All last winter, I still have approximately 15lbs. of it.
Normally with the Other brands I went through anywhere from 2-4 bags per 1 winter season!
So in closing YES I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT - Carol D.Gets the job doneYes this is mostly rock salt with some CC mixed in. I live in Chicago and have been using this for 2 winters—never had an issue, it always melts a thin layer of snow or ice well. It does wreak havoc on the painted metal stairs on our porches. Overall for 50lbs delivered to my front door the price is fair.
