I have three birdbaths with one in full sun requiring filling and cleaning several times a week. It is concrete and I typically use a touch of baking soda with small scrubbing brush. Since using the disc it requires less maintenance and keeps the birds healthier.
With several fountains also, I decided to try two discs (because it is large) in my trough that sits in full sun. I have found it to make a solid impact on the care needed.
Seeing the difference first hand has made me a believer in the factual basis for copper disc.
The disc itself is made well, thin with ball feet. It cleans easily right along with my water features and can be re-used immediately.

I put the copper disk in and refilled with fresh water. The next day when I checked it I couldn't believe how clean the birdbath was. It was even cleaner than when I scrubbed with a bristle brush. It killed the algae I couldn't reach in the cracks! Yes, I love this product and would totally buy again!
