- Maker MacGreat quality. Better price!There are a few more expensive brands of BSF larve/worms in here and I used to buy them especially since one brand I really like their packaging (not the looks, but because their 10lb box has 2 separate air-tight sealed 5lb puches inside - solved by buying 2 separate 5lb boxes, but costs a bit more...)
That being said, I have a flock of chickens (was 29, down to 16 at the moment) who I feed these to all because it's the easiest way to get them to devour the calcium and protein that they need (esp. during winter,) and other brands have gotten so espensive that I was going without.
These guys came on the market, so I figured I'd give them a try, and so far the quality appears equal to or sufficient for our needs, but for like 30% cheaper. I've been buying them for awhile now - my birds seem to love them and their egg production is going up again after dipping significantly when I couldn't afford their "wormies" for a few months.

- Amber MurphyFabulous for FowlI buy this about once a month for my wood ducks and chickens. I keep buying it because the flock seems to love it every time. It also is very useful to me because wood ducklings are notoriously hard to get to eat. I can get the ducklings to eat these over the starter from the farm store. This provides them with a lot of nutritional value. I also give more of this to chickens who need calcium or may not seem they are feeling the best. I keep buying this product over others because it is cheaper, good quality, had never had a bad smell, and the box makes it easier to scoop compared to a bag. If they had a larger size I would probably purchase that as well just so I did not have to buy it as much.
