- Amazon CustomerBAD, BAD, BAD, STAY, AWAY! Terrible program don't wast your money.I am a wedding film maker and had a client that want a DVD rather than a webpage with a download link or flash drive, so I bought Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2. Not only is the software very dated and limited, you have no way of changing fonts, colors or layouts and the templates a horrible at best. The worst part since I installed it my computer freezes every time I try to save a file no matter what program I'm in. Once I removed the program my computer, it was back to normal. I would say only buy Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 if you hate yourself, enjoy self punishment and If you like your computer to take up to an hour to save a file.
- Bob Likes BuildingWorks great to copy CDsDespite being the year 2022, I have a bunch of audio CDs that I wanted a copy of because our car and old cheap CD players damage/scratch them up. I like to use free software when possible but everything else I could find was too sketchy. Now I could do it for free with Windows Media Player but it requires one to rip the disc, convert it to some compressed format like MP3 and then burn it again. It takes a long time, uses your effort/attention, fills space on your PC, and for audio CDs, you lose quality. It is very user friendly and easy to use Roxio to do this and it only takes 10 min per disc. On the Roxio website, it costs about 50% more than the Amazon price. I was up and running in minutes. Thanks a lot Amazon and Roxio!
- AmazonianMiriWorked for meI bought this because due to a recent system restore on my desktop, I lost access to all my pc built in NERO freeware. Unfortunately, NERO is now a yearly subscription service so I got this instead. It worked! I have a lot of music saved on my PC and I like making mixed CDs I can play on my car. It may not be user friendly but fit my needs. I don't plan on burning DVDs so I can't speak for that feature yet. Also I rip my CDs with Windows Media player so I can't speak for Roxio doing this. Roxio comes with an audio editor but it's not user friendly at all, it was extremely difficult to get the fade in feature to work properly. Also I couldn't label the CD itself. For these cons I couldn't give it 5 stars.
- David and Kathy Amazon Customerit stops me from reviewing to soonit would only work on mp3 nothing older
- JessieDVD DownloadThank you so much. I love it so much, a good amount of price. Everything was amazing: the quality is: AWESOME! Thank you so much.
- J. MartellRipped my CD as I expected it would.I needed to rip a CD I purchased online and put the music on my mp3 player. So, I downloaded Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 from Amazon. The product worked very well for my purpose. There are a lot of functions included with the product, but I did not use them because I just wanted to rip the CD for my mp3 player. The product was easy to use and worked fine with the old DVD drive that was buried in my closet. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
- Rene' KronkIf you are a newbie to this type software, this might not be a good idea.I still haven't been able to burn a decent DVD with this product, yet. It said it worked, and for 12 minutes the playback was beautiful. Then it cut off. One made it to 15, another to 30 minutes. I'm not sure if the learning curve is too much for me, or I'm just doing something wrong, but I hate to buy software I can't try first to avoid purchasing something I cannot use.
