This download did not work: Gave an "unexpected error" when trying to extract the PC executable. [both drives have about 250 gb of free space]. I then tried a new download. same issue. i then tried to extract to C: drive. same issue. Finally I downloaded to C: drive, and let it default extract to C: drive. Installed perfectly. Weird, but I'm happy now. I presume this is not an Amazon issue. May be an extraction size issue?
- TKTurbotax just works!I started using Turbotax in the 70s 0r 80s. I took a break from it for a 5-year period when I wanted to support a friend who was starting out as a CPA, but when he moved away, I went back to Turbotax and have never strayed since. It does everything that my friend was doing at a MUCH more reasonable price, and actually is easier to use, as I do not have to fill out a long complicated form that the CPA used.
The ability to directly import data from my stock brokers makes life easier,
I use it during the year to work on my estimated taxes on a quarterly basis, even though I know that I am using last year's version, it at least gives me an idea of how well I am doing for the current year.
I then buy it early in November when it becomes available so I can get a picture of where I stand before my final estimated taxes are due in the middle of January.
I recommend it to any and all as it makes preparing taxes much less taxing :-) - Critique ZoneEverything you'd expect.
