Top reviews from the United States
- Gregory W.Good variety for starter.I read the reviews before purchasing a few boxes and they were exactly what I expected. They are an assortment of a collectors duplicates and triplicates. Did not expect anything from the top collected players, but I was elated to see the variety. Even some Topps chrome, Bowmam Chrome, a couple Bowmam platinum, and upper deck. I have been collecting a long time, but mainly just the annual topps base sets and a few topps updates and holidays. Just started to expand my collection to the rest of the brands including the “Junk Wax” 80s and 90s. These boxes were definately worth the price. Every player in every year is not a “No Name” as indicated in another feedback, even if they played. 1 year, and did not become an all star, they got their face on a card, which is a significant feat. Much thanks to the seller, I hope your collection meets your goals.
- MasonWow!Bought these because I figured it was going to be a lot of extremely cheap cards that I could give to students at school. Pleasant surprise, cards ranged in prices from .01 up to 20. TCG App on my phone helped price check all of them since I’ve never dealt with sports cards, mainly other TCG cards, but my box included over $300 worth of cards excluding all of the cards worth under a $1. Extremely happy with the purchase and still plenty of cards left over to gift to my students. Thank you!
- Daniel JohnstonScam25 duplicates of the same card, 30 duplicates of the same card, probably two dozen different cards with 10+ of the same card in the box. About 1/4 of the cards are bent, with some heavily damaged single cards throughout. Worst box I’ve bought for sure.
- Steven HarmonGreat CardCard is great. It is now added to my collection.
- dgrochesterGreat if you are a Julio Franco fan, just okay otherwise.I spent an Amazon gift card and bought this along with a couple 2022 wax boxes out of morbid curiosity since I see this on sale all of the time. I recently started collecting again and enjoying buying large lots from goodwill and the hunt of looking for cards so I though it would be interesting to compare.
The cards were in great condition and packaged well. The result, mostly junk wax era. The Babe Ruth card is from a 1992 set and worth about a quarter. There were ten 80's and 90's star cards worth between 25 cents and 2 dollars packaged in plastic with the Ruth card. The one pack was 94 stadium club and I got a decent Frank Thomas insert card. The 600 cards were junk wax including 90 leaf, 90 fleer, 92 donruss and 91 topps. Mostly commons, Many repeats, but a few star players including a 91 topps Chipper Jones rookie. There were about 100 minor league cards which didnt yield much and strangely about 150 Julio Franco cards ranging from 86-94. I have yet to look through those, but there seem to at least be some inserts.
The four star rating is five stars for packaging and condition but three stars for cards. Ive seen much better but also seen much worse. My guess is that there is some variance in value, and what myself and others got is due to the luck of the draw. You will likely get your moneys worth for 25 dollars but don't expect to find a hidden gem or turn a profit.
Edit-Got a second box a few months later. This one had a better ratio of stars, more variety and a good portion of newer ones. Sounds like what you get is luck of the draw. - LinchpinSEOEhhhh not great. Was excited to get all these, but after looking through them, many of the hologram cards were bent into almost a U-shaped. There were a TON of doubles and not of any good players, and they were definitely not any of the cards such as Babe Ruth or any of the Hall of Famers in either of the boxes that I ordered.
I’d say this is a very good throwaway set that you can give to somebody who is just starting out collecting baseball cards and just wants to get a bunch of them, but don’t expect to get anything good. - Paula BGreat startup baseball card collection.Got these baseball cards for my grandsons who have just started collecting. My son, their dad, got a bunch of his cards down from his attic and they are hooked. The box I received today had 600 cards as diverse as could be. Even a Babe Ruth card. Wonderful selection of players. Great price and great service. I strongly recommend their products.
- Amy PriceAmazing Cards!Because this is a gift I haven't opened it yet. However the last box I got was full of prestine cards that have some value to them. I would recommend.
Side note: The outside of this box is slightly dented.
