Put half an avacado in the jar without any lemon juice or preserver sealed with this bad boy and put in the fridge, two days later it still looked and tasted fresh.
The seal this achieves is hard core, you’ll want a spoon or something solid to pop the lid.

It fits perfectly over large mouth, and regular mason jars with the removable adapter. I've been using it to store whole coffee beans, and so far, it seems like they're keeping them pretty fresh.
I do really wish it came with a box to plug the charging cord in, or simply came with an integrated cord I could plug into the wall. I only do canning in the kitchen, so I'm not really sure why it had to be battery powered, but I don't hate it.
It's making it so I can save money by buying coffee in bulk, and vacuum sealing them. Whenever I tried to vacuum seal in a bag, some of the broken beans would poke holes, and completely ruin the coffee inside costing me even more money. Was able to store left over rotisserie chicken in mason jar in the frig and even after 10 days it's still good! makes a huge difference in how long my fruits stay fresh, and I can pre-make salad for the week, and store & seal and even after 5 days all of the ingredients are still as fresh as the day I prepared them! Very easy to use, small enough to store in your drawer. I will be using this for a long time to come. Has more than enough power to get the job done! - Liz DevinGreat GadgetWorks well. Holds a charge for a long time and came with a charging cord and several extra lids. Produce stored after being vacuum sealed seem to stay fresh longer. Prevents bugs and mice from getting into dry goods. It’s easier to prevent a bug/rodent infestation than get rid of one and this gadget definitely aids in that prevention.
- DebWorks as advertised, kinda cool and funThis vacuum sealer isn't perfect, but it isn't bad if you are looking for short term storage. It works exactly as it should, doesn't take longer than the recommended time, and reseals easily. However, some lids will pop when the contents change significantly, such as going from a warm room to a cold fridge. I recommend adding the typical metal ring as a backup, then check the seal often. I liked being able to reseal jars in less than a minute, and found that mushrooms lasted much longer than unsealed or in plastic bags. Foods with higher humidity do better if you slip a paper towel inside to absorb moisture, replacing it as needed.
