- Andrew W.They will never know you’re there!I am a firm believer in washing your hunting clothing in Scent killer detergent, you can play the wind all you want but sometimes animals will get down wind of you. I’ve had several deer downwind that have been unable to pick up my scent. Also, bed down right next to the tree I’m in. As a plus my clothes are always clean!

- SJGood but...My wife is very sensitive to fragrances, and they make her sick. We have gotten some nice used clothing, however there is a fragrance that won't wash out. My wife has tried washing multiple times as well as sun drying and the smell wouldn't come out. We tried this hoping that it would remove the fragrance. It did take out about 80% of the smell. I would expect that if she can still smell the fragrance that a deer or whatever you are hunting will still be able to smell you also, maybe just not front as far away.
